I just want to express my condolences to the Entire king Family. They have been great friends and also an inspiration to all us from that area of NM. Bruce and Alice always had the "good intent." for all in NM. It was important that all New Mexicans would benefit in the political arena. Alices gentle smile and warm heart cheered and encouraged us often. We will miss them. To Gary, Don, Dorothy and all the extended King family.... Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sorry to see the last of the true New Mexico politics
end. This is one Republican who always respected
Governor King--we could sure use some of that ole
cowboy common sense in our State Government today.

My condolences to the King family.
However, I was not a fan.
Several years ago at the State Fair, me and my
family were physically pushed aside by Bruce and his wife trying to get through the crowd.
Alice pushed my daughter and Bruce pushed away my son. It took a lot of control for me not to go after them.
However, may he rest in peace.

Bruce King was one of a kind. He served in the Military having entered in December 1944 and his US Army serial number was 38585596. I remember him as a man who helped New Mexico develop a permanent fund,(which has been pretty much depleted now by selfish politicians.)

He was a man that would look you in the eyes and shake your hand. My memories of him place him in the catagory of a cowboy- soldier- politician who I admired during his life and who has my prayers now. To his family I say this: He was a heck of a man, and will be remembered fondly by many of us!

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Virgo

This is not a day for sitting still if you can possibly avoid it because it will be a fast track to bad temper and sharp-tongued outbursts. Have plenty of short breaks, go for lots of walks or work up a sweat in the gym in your lunch-hour. If you're driving, keep an eye on the speedometer because it will be very tempting to go too fast and you'll be furious if you're caught.
