What does Palin's "hotness" have to do with anything? Stop regressing. Don't fall for the flash and glamour. This was a very clever move to get our collective media-frenzied mouths salivating. This too shall pass.
Beyond Obama's youth and fresh energy, he has substance.

I think Sara Palin is a great choice! She is an outsider like Biden says he is, although he just lives the next state over. Everyone talks experience, but how much does Obama have. My understanding is that he has only had 160 something days, on the actual Senate floor. She has been Govener for two years now and a mayor befor that. For those who say she lacks experience to be a Vice President, then how can you vote for Obama as a President.

My favorite is when the Obama camp said McCain doesn't have the experience to be commander in cheif. WHAT? Obama camp, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

Palin is the commander in cheif for the Alaska National Guard. Obama can't say that.

Or how about Obama's pastor for many years, Jeremia Wright who is as racist as they come and Obama acts like he just found out. AGAIN, OBAMA! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

GEEZ!

Go to youtube and search for "Obama and relgion".

He is effectively "socialist-lite".

Yes, he has the substance of a SOCIALIST. Read Gulag Archipelago and call me in the morning.

As far as hotness, I wouldn't vote for a woman because of her looks...but it IS a nice bonus. Instead of looking at and listening to Obama over the next 4-8 yrs while the media "salivate" over him, I get a fresh dose of hottie VP and a sexy Alaskan accent to enjoy.

Hmm, since she has caused such an uproar from the 'left', she might be worth something.

They don't get this ticked at anything unless it is getting in their way to absolute power!

Now, if we average both tickets, Republicans have better 'gender balance', roughly the same 'average age', foreign relations - real comparison is questionable but my understanding seem to lean to the Republicans, being fiscally prudent - Sarah brings that to the table, everyone else is a 'lost soul'. Generation of hot air and hand waving positions, Democrats seem to win. Overall, the next two months will tell the tale.

(Personally, I am not Dem or Rep, but conservative on most issues, and more liberal on some, so far none of the candidates represent my point of view.)

She must be a dandy, 1 meeting and 1 phone call and she gets the knod. I think John is thinking with his little head again instead of his big one.

Governor Palin's grammar is atrocious. She will help keep the US a laughing stock at home and abroad.
