My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends. As a hunter, I was severely concerned something like this would happen in PA after the other year when that nut killed another hunter when he was kicked off of private land he didnt have permission to hunt. Now its closer to home. I wonder if it was one of those anti hunting/home grown terrorists like PETA or someone that had a grudge. Whom ever is responsible needs to be drawn & quartered.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. This is TERRIBLE. I can't imagine losing a loved one so close to the holiday.

The article said it was a shoot out. Does that mean that our victim was firing back? Was it self defense?

It's just such a horrible story. I hope they catch the murderer and punish him to the full extent of the law.

Obviously killing this individual was intentional and the person/persons who committed the murder should recieve the full measure of justice. Years ago it would have been difficult to apprehend such criminals but with todays technology and methods, capture is fairly certain. I certainly hope that justice is swift and certain. Mr deepest sympathy goes out to his family and friends.

QUOTE who="mjm"The once beautiful and peaceful Poconos with friendly people turned into crap like everywhere else! Or should I say, the people, that are there now.

[Well, said. Was this a statement made by the Native Americans (Indians) when William Penn arrived?]

I believe we will understand more about this crime when the details by friends and acquaintances surface. We have all seen this movie before.....

I've got $100 says it was a drunk hillbilly. Your tinfoil hat conspiracy theory is cute. I'm sure a city slicker PETA nut with a gun was out in below freezing temperatures, during hunting season no less, because of a grudge. Hahahaha.... Amazing.

If they can do this to each other imagine what they do to the poor animals out there!!! Most of these hunters are drunks anyway!!!!! Should have to take breathalizers before entering the woods.

Obviously you have no proof of that...maybe it was an accident and the person panicked and left the scene figuring they wouldn't get caught. Obviously

Apparently you weren't keeping up with the facts. Why is it that you had to describe the two men as a "Hmong" hunter. Neither of these two cases were considered 'hate' crimes, so why do you have to stir more controversy by reiterating the fact that they were Hmong? People in the media like you make me sick.
