This is b.s to begin with. People are so quit to jump all over anything that could be taken offensively. IT'S A DAMN JOKE! People crack jokes on whites, african americans, native americans, and much more. What would of happened if that had been a white joke, NOTHING. We all know that it would of blown over. If you don't like what someone says, get over it. Believe it or not, you yourself have probably offended someone else, it's life. Stop being so sensitive and touchy; get a sense of humor and learn to laugh.
Let me guess: you're white and male. I'm female- also white, but find nothing funny about it. You say: "People crack jokes on whites". Really? When was the last time you ever heard a joke about a white guy??? We DO put up with blond jokes, and other female jokes so crude I won't mention. You probably find "dead baby" jokes humorous too. nitwit.

it's funny how those who never heard the comments or the context in which they were made are the first in line to attack their freedom of speech.
political correctness is not in our constitution!
freedom of speech is! grow up people.look at any adult comedy show and tell me they have not said things worse live on tv. dave chappell for instance or sara silverman. howard stern. come on it is their job to shock you and get a rise or if lucky a laugh. those who cry about their snivel rights being violated need to grow some thicker skin. white people take the brunt of verbal abuse in the media these days and you don't see them complaining and snilveling about it.
political correctness has made society weak!
it is time to end political correctness since it is a marxist and communist ideology it has no place in a free country like America!
Well spoken, you white guy, you. Yeah, I'm white too, but a woman. You have no idea. You are WRONG. I HATE extreme political correctness. It's irritating. But this is wrong. Like making a joke about rape. Nothing funny about it.

In your effort to control others, most of you on this blog have decided that the 1st amendment to the US Constitution is null and void. God help us (The USA) now that we no longer have free speech.
Hey, stup, if we didn't have free speech, we wouldn't be commenting here-- anonymously, too I might add.

I just viewed the KTVA 5 o'clock news, and happened to catch the story about Native concern over the Woody and Wilcox
show. I am left wondering why KTVA conducted the interview of the Native woman with the Brown Jug Liquor store as the backdrop for the shot? A Native woman ranting in front of a liquor store is certainly not the image the native community is looking for. I just feel that it would have been easy enough to film this woman without the Brown Jug in the shot. I think KTVA might need to take look at how much respect they are giving to the native people by portraying them in such a way.
I cant pass this one up, you said KTVA shouldnt portray them in such a way(Ranting woman in front of brown jug) They just shot it like they saw it!!!. Dont give'em a hard time. Maybe she should be at home with her kids or family instead of the brown jug...Think about it pal

It's good that the two radio hosts have been suspended for their remarks about Native American Women. However, I feel that since this isn't the first time these two clowns have made this kind of remark they should be fired. It is this kind of language that gets women killed. Remarks like this is no different from the Rap or Hip Hop songs that put women down, and who is listening to these supposely adults are the young people and it is set in their minds that women can be abused not only by the stupidity of these two white men, but by society in general. I demand that these men be fired and made to apologize.

So if rappers and hip hop and shock jocks can do it and get paid handsomely I might add, why persecute 2 people who apologized and lost pay while attending classes to educate themselves about the native people. Look further than your own back yard. Kids say the meanest things and they mean it. They are worse than these 2 radio hosts by far. By the way they didnt learn it from radio they learned it at home.
