On my anual trip to Wyoming, I make it a point to stop and visit Chugwater. I have found it to be quite the charming little town. Something about it continues to draw me back...Something serene, a throw back of an earlier time.

Yeppers.. Got to visit with Old West Historian Colonel Bain
www.withoutglory.com he was in Wheatland, Wyoming on a pilgrimage to the Chimayo and the Outlaw Country of Old Liberty and north eastern New Mexico. He is said to have left some play books about an Old West gunfight at the Book Nook in Wheatland to sell. He told me he has considered Wheatland as one of the sites for his documentary. That would be cool..allot closer then Plentywood Montana where he lives. Rawk |

chugwater should have a page on www.wheaterville.com like all the other Platte towns do. The Stampede Steakhouse in Chug advertises on Wheaterville though so you can keep up with who's playing there. That is a great place on a summer weekend.
