Since all of this began I was and still will defend the right of religeon/ Each religeon has their own beliefs and the government has no place in that aspect of anyones life. If these people are really doing this thing with young girls,I believe it is wrong in the eyes of God.There are so many interpretations of religeon I know but I refuse to belive that God would condone this behavior. This falls under pedophile in every sense to me. Texas authorities had no business barging into their compound and living in Texas as I do and have for many years they did it in a way and put out the propaganda they did so people would believe there really was a 16 year old girl that called and was beaten and made to marry this "old man". They had to make a wrong, right in the eyes of the public.
Texas officials are well known for lying to cover their butts and this case is no different but if these people are really doing all these things it has to stop and be stopped.

Also I have to say that I am not just spouting off in this matter. Look at Waco......86 men, women and children were "slaughtered" yes slaughtered by Texas officials. To this day none of them were held accountable for the mass murder that took place. Propaganda was put out about them also by some unhappy members of the sect and look at the big picture here!Janet Reno overlooked all of this and she too should stand trial along with every law enforcement officer who was at Waco that last day and the days before but no that is not how the system works. We all have a constitutional right to believe in God but isn't it our own government who has taken God out of schools, made it to where people can't pray at school and the good old "in God We Trust" is being taken off our currency? Government has no place in religeon because they want us to believe in "them" big brother and the lies thay feed the public.

The leader will plead insanity. What man in his right mind would want more than one wife at a time?

***

Seriously, and not to condemn or condone, but every time that the federal government has intervened in one of these religious group situations, it has been very, very bad. If the feds are so set on wholesale slaughter, why American citizens - particularly with children & babies in the line of fire - first & foremost of late?

I hope you religinuts are getting the message!
Your days are numbered. ALL OF YOU!
When you started molesting children you crossed the line.
Sad thing is you still defend yourselves and your sick belief systems as if one trumps the other.
If there is a god he will not be very kind to members of these home-made churches.
Religion rots society. Absolutely.
Just look at countries where religion rules...

Not much Christian love coming through in your posts.
You certainly don't live a good example of Christ's teachings with your constant war on other Christians.
Why are you such a venomous person?
What will your religion gain by destroying all the other religions?
I don't get it?

Spewing hatred is certainly not limited to mormon christians.
All of you christians spew hate against each other.
Hell- you even try and deny other sects the title of christian.
Petty jealousy that doesn't set a very good example.

Oh, somebody got a little touchy feely when his own belief is being exposed? What will your religion gain by accusing and destroying the reputation of the true Mormons of having multiple wives when the truth is, they don't. Remember the difference between FLDS and plain LDS...totally far far far apart from each other.

LDS=false teachings and false prophets....FLDS=False Cult with cult teachings. An open sex market for old geezers seeking young girls under the age of 14 that use religion to hide from the government.

How quickly you forget-
christianity is also a cult.
Through and through.
It's the worship of another human being exactly the same as the mormons worship Joseph Smith.
You are all a bunch of nuts who spend your lives assailing each other and missing the joys that come with a peaceful, non-judgemental life.

They read the Bible and believe HIS teachings Why express and ignorant opinion? LEARN. What do you even know about these religions? But the LDS do believe in other writings not in the Bible that contradict scripture - what about the Adam-God theory?, etc.

and the LDs did keep plural marriage long after the law forbid it - see below:

The first seven presidents of the Mormon Church were devoted, practicing polygamists.

Count your many plural wives, name them one by one:

Joseph Smith, LDS Church president (1830-1844), had at least 33 wives, with seven children by Emma Hale Smith. It is unknown if he had any children by plural wives.

Brigham Young, LDS Church president (1847-1877), had 50 wives and 56 children.

John Taylor, LDS Church president (1880-1887), had least 14 wives and an estimated 36 children.

Wilford Woodruff, LDS Church president (1889-1898), had least 10 wives and an estimated 34 children.

Lorenzo Snow, LDS Church president (1898-1901), had at least nine wives, with 33 children.

Joseph F. Smith, LDS Church president (1901-1918), had six wives and 43 children.

Heber J. Grant, LDS Church president (1918-1945), had three wives and 12 children.

As Sandra Tanner, in her article,“LDS Leaders Still Believe There Will Be Polygamy in Heaven,” points out:

“According to LDS doctrine, these men will have all of their faithful wives and children with them in the resurrection, which would mean they will be living polygamy in the Celestial Kingdom

mormons are Christians - they believe in christ as god as the rest of Christians do. if god came to the desert of northern Africa, and you believe that, why not north America? the mormon religions believes in polygomy as stated in the bible- how do you born agains reconcile that with your belief that the bible is the word of god?
