I've got news for you. In this area, if the cops don't want anything done, they aren't to do jack sh!t. You can cry for all the justice you want, but unless you are somebody with money, or someone whose name matters, you aren't getting anything.

I'm not someone with money, and my name does not matter.. I'm hoping to reach someone who does have money or whose name does matter. You know, just spreading the word. It's all I can do.

Nothing wrong with that. I hope whatever happened here comes to light and justice gets served. But I've seen too many people get away with murder in this area, and I am just saying I will not be surprised when it happens again.

Perhaps the family should put some of their energy and money into suicide prevention and awareness programs, or at least a part of it. Perhaps she didn't commit suicide but apparently she thought of it often and she tried previously. Just something to consider, if it could save someone else's child it would have to be worth it. What a shame it is.

Now before anyone attacks me, I am only stating the facts.

Perhaps after they get what they are after (justice) they can begin putting their time, efforts, and money into something else, such as suicide prevention. RIght now their efforts appear to be paying off, so I would in no way encourage them to give up now.

Lets see... evidence like she was right handed but was shot on the upper left side of her head, trajectory going downward... no gunpowder residue on her hands and no fingerprints on the gun which by the way was her ex boyfriends gun Richie Minton so surely his fingerprints would have been on there from just handling it...how does a dead person wipe her fingerprints off a gun.... the ex calls in the 911 as a suicide but i'm pretty sure if someones blown their brains out with a gun right next to you... you're gonna know it so he is a pathetic liar.... she died around 5 am but he didn't call 911 until 9 am.... 4 hours later... and by the time the police get there he already has his daddy there & a lawyer.... what innocent person gets a lawyer if its just a "suicide"..... plus they let the ex boyfd wash his hands & he changed his blood coverd pants... she had fresh bruises on her head, inner thigh & scrapes on her body from an altercation... and his dna under her fingernails... doesn't take anyone with too many brains to see all the problems with this now does it?

Why don't you post all the facts, not just the side that makes it look real good for your crusade? Everything that JFM is sharing is so one sided.

The State's Attorney has to prove he shot her beyond a reasonable doubt. I don't know whether he killed her or not but none of the facts you cite prove anything close to guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. The fact that she was right handed but was shot on the left side of the head doesn't "prove" someone else shot her unless she had a withered and unfunctioning left hand. A defense attorney could also explain the lack of gunpowder residue and fingerprints. Fingerprints are often, even most often, not left on a gun The oils in cleaning solutions typically render guns a hard item to leave a fingerprint on. The attorney could also explain the lack of gunpowder residue as being the result of the passage of a few hours or as even the result of the presence of any blood on her hands. Some of the facts you cite are also inherently contradictory in terms of actually proving anything. For example, if he waited 4 hours to call 911, why does it matter that the police allowed him to wash his hands after they got there? Was his water not working until the police arrived? Wouldn't he have had an opportunity to wash his hands before the police arrived? Also, why wouldn't they allow him to "change his blood covered pants?"How were the police supposed to take them into evidence if he was wearing them? Plus, if the 4 hour delay means anything useful, then why wouldn't he have changed out of the pants already? Why wouldn't he have burned them? Plus, if he used his time to hide evidence by wiping the gun as you suggest, then why'd he leave the bloody pants on? The fact he called an attorney real quickly is, I agree, very damning. It's the sort of thing probably only a cop or an attorney would do. But even though it's damning, it can't be used against him in court. His subsequent refusal to cooperate also cannot be used against him in court. The Miranda decision prohibits it. The problem is...the prosecutor has to come up with an account of what happened and prove that beyond a reasonable doubt. I don't see how they can do that. And that's not even addressing the allegations the defense would be able to bring forth that she was suicidal and had even expressed an intent to kill herself that very evening.

I believe that the text from her phone could have been from anyone with access to her phone and as far as I understand the suicidal thoughts were from 2 years ago... that's not proof that 2 years later she killed herself... AND any idiot that is right handed that would reach around to the left side of their head.. sorry .. no.. I've held my right hand in that position to see and it is unnatural, a right handed persons not gonna do that just like a left handed person isn't going to reach all the way to the other side of their head... no not buying it sorry.... but it's not unnatural for the killer that is right handed holding the gun to press it to the left side of the persons head that they killed. PLUS you do have the downward trajectory which even experts have said that is not what they see in a suicide... but of course if someone is down on their knees with someone standing over them with a gun pressed to their head... the trajectory is going to point downward...
Hamburger... I understand what you're saying... in my opinion that crime scene and evidence was already tampered with a great deal over the 4-5 hour period before the police got there. He probably showered a couple times who knows? That's not the biggest problem in my book that the police knew he washed his hands because i'm sure he'd already done it before they got there as well.... There's too much other evidence and things that do not add up. This family & S Illinoisans want complete answers, not parents & attorneys there before the cops and the main suspect not cooperating at the time.... an innocent person that is distraught over finding their girlfriend dead doesn't act like that.
