I ate at this new restaurant Friday when they opened. I had a Gyro and it was excellent. But however they don't add enough meat. This place is still in all a blessing to Sesser. Good job guys!!

So excited to find out that this new restaurant opened this weekend. We ate there today. We are not really picky about our food, but we were not impressed at all! The food that we ordered was all dried out and tasted old. The chicken had a really bad, strong taste to it. Needless to say, we left most of our order on our plates. Maybe we didn't order the right food or something. We have heard a few good reviews on it though. We probably will try it another time. We will try something different then. The waitress was very nice though.

Been open three days and food tastes old whatever. Might be believable if you just said it tasted bad.

That has nothing to do with how long the chicken had been dead........could have been old, freezer burnt, etc.

Ate there last night. Gyro sandwich lacked flavor. Greek salad nothing special. On a $30 bill they charged us $1.89 for a glass of water. Tlhis restaurant follows the same menu as many Illinois and Missouri family restaurants operated by a faction of hard working immigrants. This is the worst of the ten or so I have sampled. Sad. Sesser needs a good diner. $1.89 for a glass water is greedy

I happen to work there and if you were charged that for a glass of water by a waitress she has no business being a waitress now gyro sandwich cost a 6.99 and a greek salad cost $7.99 and let's just say you were charged $1.89 twice that adds up to $18.76 with a 1.69 at nine percent tax comes to $20.45by all means go up there they will give you your money back because they are good honest people not the immigrants that you are shooting off at the mouth about (that's not nice by the way I will add)so I am calling you out on that ....and please have a good night!!!

There was the cost of my wifes dinner a dessert to go and i did ask about the charge for water to your hostess when i paid my bill and was told that was correct. It was a total of $30+ and i never said anything bad about immigrants because my family is also but they hsd the chance tod make it right and didnt. BTW. The 1.89 doesn't mean crap to me its the point. So good luck with that.

If they are charging for tap water they need to fail. I find it hard to believe. If they are I will never spend any money there.

Need some reading comp skills........he was actually complimenting the immigrants and said nothing about the rest of his order, only the total.

So.....hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, french fries, Gyros, and over priced salads? What is their specialty?

First off they remodeled this place into a nice, airy, light walled establishment with a snazzy bar. Since they’ve also done some work on the outside be sure not to drive right by it, look for the open sign facing the street.
The Gyro was very good, lots of tender meat along with all the normal fixings, including cucumber sauce. Would definitely go back just to have another. The fries were limp, most likely from not using the correct frying temperature, which can be corrected with a little testing and adjustment.
Would be nice if they had at least a Facebook page or just a small website with their menu, hours, specials, etc. Maybe some pics of how nice the place looks now.
There are a few other things I would comment on but I will wait until I’ve visited a few more times before I chime in.
I wish the new owners good luck and happy cooking!

I hope it burns down after what they did to Bruno's. It's a disgrace. Just sick. They should have built a new building. Won't see me in there.
