I don't work at Salon Bliss but I own my own salon. People often confuse, "we can't get you in right now" with rudeness. It's always best to call before stopping in. Especially if you're going to get pissed if they are too busy for you. It's back to school time, so naturally EVERYONE is trying to get in and a lot of salons are running specials which makes it even busier. We are only people and some people such as yourself sort of expect us to drop everything to take care of you or your children. If I have an appointment in ten min and a guy walks in wanting a haircut, I don't take it right then because I have a client who had called and made an appointment, why should they wait? Just a thought.

I do work at Salon Bliss & yes alot of people do tend to confuse rudeness with unavailability. Even thought we or anyone else says walk-ins-welcome its still always a good idea to call and give a heads up. that's why most of the time phone numbers are posted with the advertisement.

I CALLED to make a walk in appt my first time trying there! Got there at the time specified, was told rudely to wait while this girl did a nail appt that walked in AFTER me, as I was glared at by an entire room of stylists doing NOTHING!!!! Why couldn't any of them work on my hair!?! And why give me an appt if u really werent going to get me in then!?! This was a couple years ago. Recently I tried again. Walked in on a saturday morning. Asked what time they close that day and saw only1 lady working (older woman). She said rudely and with attitude, "Im the ONLY one here and I am BOOKED!". Then went back to working on her customer without another word! I will NEVER GO BACK and ALWAYS tell every1 I know about my experiences!!!

That's because I can just about guarantee that you have a stick in your ass too. Not surprising because you all are the same.

I do go to salon bliss quite frequently. I always have an appointment made in advance and I always have to wait. I usually have to wait at least 15 minutes and sometimes up to half an hour. Sometimes it doesn't bother me but sometimes it does. I do sometimes go to Regis in Marion. I will call and make an appointment usually the day I go and I never have to wait. I probably would go to Regis more frequently but it is not as convenient for me as salon bliss. I guess if you figure in all the wait time, it isn't more convenient. I am not complaining about the salon services I receive and I am treated well by my beautician. I just wish my appointment time would be more precise.

Yes, I think that when you make an appointment that it should be an accurate appointment time. A lot of beauticians schedule 2 or 3 appointments at the same time and you are always waiting...But heaven forbid if you are a few minutes late. I went to a beautician for a long time and ended up changing and going to someone else and one of the reasons was because I would have a pre-arranged appointment and would have to sit a wait for my appointment due to a walk in. That is not right. The walk in should have to wait for an opening.
