Old Navy has really gone down hill in the past few months. The display is always a mess, clothes in the floor, hangers sticking out and catching your arm. What a mess at the area where you try clothes on. They have changed the management and the friendly ones aren't there anymore and if you ask for assistance, they act like you slapped them. I've heard that all the current management is from Wytheville and that store was closed and they were all transferred to Christiansburg in management positions. Guess they run the Wythe store like they are C-burg and it won't be long before this one is shut down. Happy shopping at Navy...

I've always had nice and friendly service at the Old Navy in C'burg. I've gone to the one in Roanoke many times, but prefer the one in C'burg b/c the Roanoke Old Navy is so crowded and the store is always a mess. A

I worked at that old navy for two years until this august. After the wytheville store closed we started getting employees from there until we were completely taken over by them! We used to work really hard and love our customers even if we couldn't be completely clean all of the time the customers were always so important. I've heard from coworkers how bad it is now. It really sucks

The new managers there are complete IDIOTS!!! The stupid blondes stare at me instead of answering my questions...Is this because they are too stupid to answer or just cant comprehend a simple question. The store is a mess, the employees seem miserable, and the new head managers seem to be the problem. No more shopping at Old Navy C'burg for me.

I totally agree that the Old Navy has gone downhill! I tried to return a gift there last week (I had the receipt) and the employee, who was gossiping with her coworker the entire time, refused to give me store credit and instead refunded the money to the account of the person who purchased my item! All I wanted was a different size! She told me that Old Navy "doesn't do store credit." - It's funny when their return policy says otherwise!

I went in their yesterday to buy some of their yoga pants and they only had two styles to choose one - one was solid black and the other was an ugly gray/blue combination. They had ONE medium and the rest were all XS and S. The woman who checked me out was unfriendly.

It's a shame because I love the one the Roanoke.

Why don't you shop online? You will never find messed up aisles, uncaring managers, plus it will have a better selection.

Another great part is that you can save gas money and if you enter the code "freeship" you can get free shipping on most orders.
oops i did it again

Well I caved and went back to Old Navy a few days ago. To my dismay I WAS WORSE THAN BEFORE! The employees are far more competetant than the managers! Unless of course you are trying for STUPID BLANK STARES! REALLY! Well they blew it for me for the last time. I used to Love going and shopping there, but since the Wythville managers have gotten there it was terrible!

The management at Old Navy in Cburg is 100% different than when the store originally opened. The new store manager is not friendly and is only concerned with the amount of money made, not the happiness of the customers. She spends most of the time sitting in the back office than on the floor. She alienates certain employees and makes them feel uncomfortbale to even comme to work, you almost feel like your a robot while there. Not to mentaion clearly plays favorites, so you can image what it was like to work for her. Old Navy is known for a warm, inviting, welcoming and fun atmosphere, but the new store manager takes away from this. Almost the entire management team is from the Wythville store, although this was not the reason for it closing. And some of the managers are in fact great. I really enjoyed working at Old Navy when it first opened, but once the new management came in, it was no longer fun.
