Teens should have a curfew at the mall. I dont think they need one when they are not as far away from their own home. They should be able to go with their boyfriend to get laid.

The way i see it the mall closes early enough that they shouldn't impose a curfew. Parents should set curfews.

But you are punishing the majority of teens who aren't 'rowdy' or 'loud'. What did I do? did i stab someone? did i make a scene? No i didn't. That basically just brings me to the conclusion of just don't go to valley view. There are alternative locations for most of the shops in the mall, I'll just take my business elsewhere.

Listen. I think that the mall curfew is bullshit and should not be existed. What are teens suppose to do on their free time? Wander the streets, get in trouble, destroy others property. What are we suppose to do. Kids usually don't get out of school till about 3 and the curfew is 4. How are we suppose to go from school to the mall in a matter of seconds. WTF. Get rid of it.

The NO FUN rule must be strictly enforced or before you know it these damned kids will get the idea they live in The Land Of The Free.

This article is funny. People are so stupid. A city curfew? Get real. And if the mall is that important to all you people, you seriously need to get a life. Screw going to the mall, just toke up!

The mall is private property; there is no right to hang out there. If the management decides that idiot teenagers who aren't going to spend any money anyway are bothering people who are going to shop, they have every right. I'm not sure what Robert means by "I can fight for my country but i can't shop in it?"; the curfew doesn't apply to people old enough to enlist.

No we should not because a mall iz a public place and that iz taking our freedom away from use if they put a cufew on a mall... also when u think bout it we are pretty much the reason why the makes the monny that they do. from use goin to the movies and shopping for stuff we are pretty much the reason some shops are still in busness. One more thing when u think bout if your parent let u hang at the mall late anyway then when u r with then they are probally most likely let you go and do your own thang with your friends and stuff.

From the lovely grammar in your posts, I'd say some of you "teens" need to spend more time in the books than hanging out at the mall. I don't see why there should be a problem with instating a curfew. Extending such a curfew on Friday and Saturday, I don't feel, would be objectionalbe. I've been in the mall and other retail locations and have seen lots of teenagers about after 8 PM. Some are pretty well behaved, most are not. While I am not necessarily talking about getting into fights, they do tend to be loud and they definitely make messes. You want to have your freedoms? Earn them. Earn the trust of the local shop owners / operators by acting like the adults you so long to be seen for. Be respectful, put things back where you found them, feel free to talk and laugh but keep it at a decent level and be respectful of other patrons and maybe you will be looked at differently.

Well i think we shouldn't have a curfew at fun places like the mall because us teens and kids just want to get away from home some time and get away from our annoying parents now days thats what i think......

This rule is completely unfair. The business the mall gets is mostly from teens anyways and its discriminantive for them to tell us when and at what time we can spend our money. I'm going to start a boycott in the mall. The first saturday of every month. Then they'll see how much we effect them and maybe they'll finally listen to us. No wonder teens resort to drinking and drugs, there's absolutely nothing else to do, and now they're going to limit us more? It doesn't make sense.
