Raids are drastic measures that are more symptomatic than actual solutions. Raids are mini-wars waged against targeted enemies. Sustained raids only result in victory through eradication for one side, the government, and devastation through total loss for the other. The Christiana raid was a desperate move to restore to teeth to the barking of the Southern slavocracy. After all, Christiana is only a few miles from the Mason-Dixon line. It's proximity basically a slap in the face to plantation owners. In the case of criminal activity, there's the fact that EVERYONE knows where vice is out in the open 24/7. Thus, a raid on drug spots, gambling dens, brothels, and many other "disorderly houses." Unfortunately, most Americans cannot digest the fact that raids are acts of desperation and not real solution. I remember DEA raids back in the 80s, and what do we have now? Worst drug dealing than ever in addition to a load of idiots making meth and other garbage out of their bathtubs. Raids of any kind are acts of desperation

coming to you from Iran....
excerpt at end of story;

Though the issue of immigration has been around since the birth of the nation, the current Immigration movement is still in its early stages. If it is to achieve the perceived successes of the Civil Rights movement, it must do a better job of uniting with that sector of the U.S. population that so clearly participated in and benefited to a significant degree from the Civil Rights movement -- Black America. On the other hand, African Americans should be sensitive to the current conditions in which many immigrants find themselves, conditions not unfamiliar to us.

Here are a couple or reflections about raids:
First of all raids are the law, raids cannot be argued in terms of legality.
Raids are great, they remove illegals, also if well advertised, they spread scare which stimulates illegals to leave, and Mexicans in Mexico to be more reluctant to cross to come here

It's funny some people say the raid are treating Mexicans in an 'inhumane way'...
Well the second they crossed the border they should have thought 'maybe one day I will be deported and it may not be pretty'
What should we put foam around the handcuff and play classical music in the back and take them to a final french restaurant on the last day?

Now what about all these tourists and Americans who are robbed by corrupt Mexican police every day (many times by false cops, just disguised banditos)? Often handcuffed without reason, and sometimes even injured or killed? Wonder why there's so many MISSING PERSONS in the lists of the FBI? And these are not law-breakers, there are just tourists, not stealing the SSN of a Mexican, not doing anything bad...
Shame to Mexico, shame to illegals, augment the raids!

Break the law, go to jail. Legal immigration is good. Illegal immigration is bad

THEY SHOULD STEP UP THOSE RAIDS. OTHERWISE IT WILL TAKE FOREVER TO GET RID OF THEM. WE MIGHT AS WELL GET THE JOB DONE. AND IF THEY INCREASE THE RAIDS, MORE WILL GET SCARED AND LEAVE ON THEIR OWN.

Those of you who argue for the inhuman treatment of illegal aliens must ask yourself why you feel the way you do. Have the illegals you so vehemently want deported by any means done something to injure you? The majority of illegals in this country simply want to achieve a better life for themselves and their family not unlike the millions of immigrants that came to this country in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. In fact most of your ancestors were probably immigrants. I know what you are going to say - oh but my immigrant ancestors came here legally ( so convenient of you to claim). Most of your ancestors came here broke in the belly of a stinking merchant ship or in the steerage compartment of an ocean liner. Now that we have agreed most immigrants came to our shores via crappy accomodations lets discuss their legal immigration. 75 years ago there was very little one had to do other than say hey I am here I want to be an American - in fact I do not know anyone who came to these shores 75 years ago who was deniend citizenship and deported back to their homeland.

Years ago immigrants who wanted to come to America truely did it for a better life. They were humble people who assimilated and helped build America. They also had to be sponsored by an American citizen. Stop comparing the humble people of yesteryear to the slime thats crawling in today! What do you say to all the American victims of illegals? Why don't you have any compasion for the American victim? How would you feel if you lived next to an illegal who had 15 families living in a house built for one? Or your ID was stolen and you almost lost everything you worked so hard for? What if you went to a hospital but it was closed because illegals get free health care? Why should Americans have to put up with this, and to boot put up with people like you who have no compasion for your fellow citizen! You should be ashamed.
