hmmm....chipley tax dollars go to people getting milled asphalt driveways???? just because eddie likes them?? or is there something more???

what about roads that NEED to be paved? or could use some maintenance with that money??

for instance....Buckhorn Creek...
the Quail Hollow side is paved because the Volunteer Fire Chief said the roads were hard on his trucks....WHAT ABOUT THE BUCKHORN BLVD SIDE? that road gets just as bad if not worse.

what can i do to get my driveway or road paved??

this is so wrong...our tax dollars could be put to better use...like a YMCA for the kids, needed roads paved, etc...the list could go on.

u will get yours one day Eddie Holman

To get yours you could start by being nice to your commissioner. YMCA's attract undesirables.

The fire chief had nothing to do with paving Quail Hollow. A grant was applied and the road funded. Buckhorn will have to wait for another CDBG Grant.

This grant was applied for before Eddy bacame a commissioner. Don't blame him. Got to the county and check the records.

oh please...like he had nothing to do with it (fire chief).. he moaned and groaned that the roads were just to rough on his trucks...thats why they finally paved Quail Hollow.because he complained enough.

and i never said Eddie was involved in that...he is to blame for all these driveways being put in. when he should be putting chipley's tax payers money else where...not for personal favors.
there are lots of other roads that need to be fixed in this town...instead of personal driveways....that theres not a damn thing wrong with.

Okay.......let's just begin by saying the" dawgs" have been on it all day!
Is it a rumor, or is it fact, that some milled asphalt has been put down on a driveway, somewhere on the east side of the county?
It appears to lean more toward the fact side.
I am not sure which commissioner authorized this, or if any commissioner did, but someone had it done.
I have been told that it is the Fire Chiefs driveway, but let's not point any fingers until we find out more.
If all of this bothers, and angers you, why aren't you at the meetings? It is easy to sit behind a computer and gripe, but stand up and lets put a stop to it together. What do you say?

Idol Time is correct.. The dawgs have been busy today...

As for The Fire Chief getting the Quail Hollow Blvd. paved... I'm sure he would love to have THAT power.. But it was as Road Person stated a grant.. How that grant was figured I have no clue..Now the roads are considered for paving by the Road Matrix. Yes Buckhorn is due to be paved, but like with anything else..and especially now all things must wait. Our turn will come.

I live on the Buckhorn side and YES the roads can be horrible... I took some of my photos after the last rain, to the Commission last month, for them to see first hand.

We found several areas of question throughout the county, and YES we doing our homework to back up our findings. Which hopefully will be presented at the next County meeting.

I have stated from the beginning, my position on "Pet Projects" being done. Driveways being one of my biggest peeves...The time, expense and material for personal use on private property, at tax payers cost.

All Commissioners should go back and reread their Operational Policy Manual to see if they are breaking any rules.. I'm sure most will find they have at least once...

Let us please conclude the rest of our investigating, before pointing fingers at possible innocent people.
Until this is done, everything is just hearsay.

If you have anything you think we might need or can use please feel free to send us the information via out EMAIL.. I can tell you NO information is given out to anyone except Idol Time and myself. If you wish to share any information, contact us at
[email protected]
Any information found to be pertinent will then be turned over by US to the proper authorities.

Also, we are always looking for more people to assist us with our group...

Iwould say that she is a anti-Obam person philosophy wise. He is for giving it away -- she is attempting to stop the give-away. I am on her side.
