Ground breaking will be in the Fall. Like it or not the tax on Hunting Supplies is coming. I've seen where camouflage wear, ammunition, deer stands, and a special tax on hunting leases might be levied. You all have to face the fact that hunting leases are a big business during hunting season, and the government is owed a percentage of that.
These taxes will only be in place until the Tommy McDonald Clock is completed, and a maintenance person is hired to oversee it. For these types of clocks you needs a professional clock worker to maintain it, so we'll have to find someone from outside of Chipley with experience. This might cost as much as 65,000 dollars per year once the person is brought on board. Annual maintenance fees are still being worked out.

It wood make us safer because that clock worker wood make the clock go off if there was an emergency. That way we wood all know to take care and get in doors. God does want it. The hunting tax is a good plan to pay on it. Hunting stuff is too cheap anyways.

When you need to go to the bathroom, it's an emergency, but how you wipe is critical!

I like the idea of a clock, it may help businesses. The tax would be a great trade off if our town could get a little bit of revitalization. A fitting tribute for a clock named in memory of Tommy McDonald.

Won't work. City Hall would be stumped on how to turn the big thing over every hour.
