Do you think Hawkins, if elected, will refuse the gas allowance??? I think not, that will never go away. He's in it for the money!!! He is in debt up to his ying yang! Just take a look at his financial statement he had to file. And this is his light at the end of the tunnel.
Ok, if Hawkins is in debt " up to his ying yang" and is only in it for the money then why wouldnt he be running for hmm let's see ... Tax collector, clerk of court all in which pay a heck of a lot more than CC. Have y'all ever thought that maybe he is in it for helping this county out and bringing new ideas to try and improve Washington county ..... It is time for a change across the board. Speaking of these "favors" Charles Brock does for all of these people may be a big factor in the reason the county is in debt 8 mlln. dollars!!

I will continue to vote for Mr. Brock as long as he continues to run. He has history with this county, that means alot to some. A frame of reference when making decisions. Although I do know others with your same concerns.
That kind of mentality is the same as school kids voting for each other in their class presidents. Also voting based on that mentality is why we have one of the worst presidents in the White House. Some people are afraid of new ideas that may somehow grow the county a little but you NEED growth in Washington Co to at least support the people that live here. Its called taking care of people, but not by putting them on welfare and other programs.

Alot of republicans voted for Obama. If I read the comment right, he was going to vote all republican, thats different than what got Obama in the White House.

Charles Brock is the peoples canidate and I can assure you he will carry his district for election. It is sad however that district lines are drawn to where the City of Chipley voters gets to elect our commissioners. However a strong turn out of rural Washington County voters could prevail. Hopefully for the best interest of all Washington County Hawkins does not get elected

Well, if Hawkins gets elected that will put four Chipley businessmen on the Board of Commissioners with no other rural representation, Chipley will have it all. With the exception of district five where the reverend James Guy is in bed with the Sunny Hills bunch and expected to win and no one knows which direction the "Elmer Gantry" preacher is going to go. In either case, it looks like rural Washington County will be without representation for the next four years.

Caryville, Ebro , New Hope, Crystal Lake, Greenhead, things does not look good for you you, Looks like Hawkins and his bunch from Chipley is gonna out vote you and put you on the back burner for four years.

If anyone knows Tray know that he will do whatever is best for the people of Washington County. He has always helped out with every activity in the Vernon area you never go to an event and see him not cooking or working in someway. I think he will be a great commissioner and a great leader. He will take care of his district in the same time help move Washington County forward. He has got my family and my vote.

Well then the rural voters need to get out in force and stop this before it happens. If they vote Guy in, then they get what they deserve. More of the same ole good ole boy system. But if thats what the people of WC want, then they will get it. Just need to hush their mouths after the election and stop the complaining if they vote him in. SH should be ready to be worse off than ever before with GZ right back in charge if Guy is elected/

If you haven't listened to the forum from Sunny Hills that the link is on the James Guy topix, you need to. Tray Hawkins brags about how when HE got on the city council here in Vernon the first thinkg HE did was have the city get part of the garbage collection fees from Waste Management. Yes, that happened and our bills went up $7.00 a month each too. Want to pay at least $84.00 more per year for garbabe collection??? Elect Hawkins!

Yea, this young whippersnapper has some real good ideas. I don't know about you but I do not have an extra $84.00 for garbabe pickup.

If you will check the City of Vernon rate are lower than the counties on garbage. It is call collective barging power when you sell a cliet 4800 costomers and not one at a time they will absorb the cost. That is what you get when you have someone that has bid contracts and understands the private sector. Plus he said the county will be providing a serves for the garbage company with the billing and deploying and picking cans after service is cancelled

$7.00 a month? Are you really griping about $7.00 a month? Give me a break. What does that cell phone cost you? How about your internet service? That cup of coffee you have to have every morning?

Face the fact that Charles Brock is a has-been. He needs to retire before he loses all of his dignity.

he also said he would work with the city of chipley and get utilitys to south side of i/10 for future bussiness. bout the same thing holmes county commission did way back when. off 79 and i/10 last time i looked didnt see anyone building or creating new jobs there. face the facts the ones that come out saying what all they will do is lies. just trying to earn your vote i would rather you come right out and tell me you have no ideal, but you would give it your all, than to feed us all this b--- s--- to earn our vote to feed your personal agenda. im not sure who all im voting for but rest assure it want be for the ones out for themselves and not the county like they say there gonna do. people brag because you come out to a function to cook, that started right before you ran for city council.i read in paper about how religious you are and from what im told you started going right before starting to run for commission. from talking to diffrent ones youve already won. apperantly you have since your spouse has bragged not having to go back to her job. its fine either way if you win or lose. you will have to live with all the lies and dishonesty, not the rest of us!!!!!!
