please dont change the law. i know im only 13 and this little comment wont matter at all... but that would be the worst thing that ever happeded! i have 2 older brothers and i cant imagine there high school life without cars!also thats not fair and just to change the law for us when everyone older then us have all ready gotten there license at the regular age 16. if u did change the law this would just cause kids to rebell and drive very late in the night and steal there parents cars and stuff. is that really worth it? you should let us learn for ourself and let us take responsibilty for our own actions. please please please DONT CHANGE THE LAW!!!

They started by implememting the "Cell Phone" ban while driving, which will prove useful...But, they need to take it further with some of these spoiled brat teens...
I don't believe that all teens are incapable of driving at 16, but I do believe that all are irresponsible at 16...

Sometimes I am amazed at the intelligence of the human race. That chick/guy doesn't use proper grammar or spelling, and he wants us to listen to his opinion. How about this, is you are going through school you have to be 16, but if you are a drop out, and can't spell you have to be 18. Sounds fair to me.

And Kate, most grown ups would love to have their MINOR children held responsible for their own actions...Unfortunately, the law and the Courts don't see it that way and Mommy & Daddy end up getting sued...It is directly because of spoiled, uneducated brats like you that we want the laws changed...

IT is somthing every kid looks forword to getting thier drivers licence I think it would be a big mistake to change the law but people in California love laws the more the better lets make everything illeagal Californians will love that. It seem people in california love to make thing illeagal until it afects them.

Sure, every kid looks forward to getting their license, but you're forgetting one FACT...Driving is NOT a "right", it's a PRIVILEGE...And considering that most of Californias teens are nothing more than excessivly spoiled, careless, selfish brats who worship criminals like Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton, why would any sane adult want them on the roads?...I know I don't...I've seen first hand the damage they can cause behind the wheel...When I owned my Auto Body Shop, at least 70% of the preventable accidents involved teen drivers...Remove them from the equation, the roads would be far safer, and Mommy & Daddy wouldn't have to shell out because their brat is irresponsible...18 to vote, 18 to join the Military, and 18 to drive...When they reach the age of SELF accountability, then hand them the car keys...

I am sure you dont leave your house because you are so afraid. as far as rights go I am an expert.Rights apply to people, and the more laws we make the less freedom people have. You say When I owned my Auto Body Shop, what happend let me guess there where to many laws and epa rules and you could not stay in business My point is not all 16 year olds should drive but that there are to many laws in the name of safety people are being strangled by them and they dont know it. I guess people are dumb and have to be told what to do and when to do it by the government

You need to go to school first, then maybe you can have a license. You need to know how to read the signs which, by the way you know how to spell (cough cough), is very negligent.

Like I said, until "teens" can be the ones who are held accountable, both legally and financially, for their actions, the driving age should be 18...If they're speeding, driving while on their cell phones, driving intoxicated, or simply careless it's the parents who get sued, not the kids...No matter how "responsible" we raise them to be, they all pull stunts when we're not around...

Did you know that if people change the law, then kids will be going to other states to get their driver's license at age 16. All states should let kids get their driver's license at age 16 but some states have their driver's license age at age 15 1/2

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Leo

The atmosphere is highly combustible today, with people getting in a stew over the smallest little thing. You will also have a tendency to get hot under the collar, especially if someone isn't doing things as quickly as you'd like. Try to stop yourself getting in a rage because once that happens it will be difficult to cool down again. Maybe you need some fresh air?
