I dont know about everyone else, but when I hear that the IVHS has forced closure of a VOLUNTEER organization called Priceless Pet Rescue. I wonder how we can get the IVHS mgmt to understand the errors in this action? How can we put pressure on them? Can they be fired for doing things like this? Think about it, they kill thousands of animals a month (because they have to, and I understand that), BUT why would they force closure on a RESCUE org that is trying to get animals to good homes and NOT let them be killed. What is wrong with the mgmt over there, maybe they should be replaced. I tried to find some places to complain to, and find none, maybe this will find a way for the news to be spread out?

Larry,

I completely agree with you. It is time to demand answers from the Board of Directors of the Inland Valley Humane Society. The IVHS is a Non-profit organization who has a board of directors. They are just a contract service for the cities. They are not GOVERNMENT ran. They have a members and a board of directors. I think it is time for the board to answer why it is that they are so wrapped around Rescuing and stopping it. Priceless Pets might have lost the battle but the war to SAVE pets lives is going and they are committed to the mission of a "No Kill Nation". Did you know that San Francisco is a No Kill city. In fact there are many cities that are No Kill. It is time for the City of Chino Hills to become the same.

when a "rescue" is not properly run then it deserves to be shut down. If it has the proper permits, licenses and ability to keep the animals healthy then they can stay open.

Ps there is no such thing as a no kill shelter, or rescue. when the dogs become to ill to be adoptable they are taken to the humane society...

I dont agree with these organizations. most of the donations arent even used to provide for these animals. to be honest, im opinionated harshly simply because of the scamming. its bull. if at least 50 percent went towards animals im sure the problems would be more decreased

IVHS should be called Inland Valley InHumane because that is what they are they don't care about animals they only care about the money if they cared that much they would of constructed a building with 100's of cages for the animals not plush offices for the lazy and inconsiderate.

I agree with patty in fact i call them the InHumane society also because they care nothing about the animals there enclosures are out in the elements they don't have enough room for animals especially for the over 12 cities that they enforce. There rates are so high only to accommodate them selves. Why did they build such a large complex for offices? Cause they only care about money not the welfare of animals. By the way the city of Long Beach's Humane Society is no kill they have an excellent facility and small offices.

Inland Valley sells their animals to labs and rendering plants so they can take rescues like Priceless Pets to court. They suck and really could care less about finding homes for the homeless animals or reuniting owners with their lost pets. Its all about making a dollar.
