Another travesty of justice, a totally innocent child gunned down in cold blood, and those who did it get off real easy, thanks to a lazy DA.

A very shameful situation.

Not that this will help that poor grieving Mother But three years for one and 14 years for the other file a wrongful death suit against the animals there both young enough sue them for the highest amount possible 10 million dollars they will never be able to pay it but for the rest of there miserable lives if they obtain income from employment or other means they won't be able to survive the money goes to the mother perhaps the pressure of this will be to much and these animals will take there own lives or if prison justice prevails the homies will take them out.

You might find there is still justice when they put these kid killers in Jail! Inmates tend to have their own form of JUSTICE! Good Luck Guys!

There you have it ladies and gentleman. Our justice system is designed to protect criminals rather than the innocent. This child was playing in his backyard the safest place a child can possibly be and he was gunned down by these animals. Who points a live weapon at a child? How sick do you have to be to do that?

I hope the inmates do have their own form of justice and the guards just look the other way.

This makes me sick. Even if you thought the gun was not loaded why would you pull the trigger? And especially pointing it at someone. There is always that chance that there is a bullet in there, geesh I was taught that by my father when I was a little girl.
I'll tell you what, if that was my child those guys would have been killed as well at the same time by my husband. There would have been no plea bargain. I bet we will hear soon of someone killing them whether it be in jail or outside.
I cannot believe that we live in a country that chooses to argue issues that really don't need to be but yet allow criminals to get more freedom and rights than innocent victims. HELLO!! Is the Government listening. People kill someone, they should be killed themselves. These h=guys were old enough to understand not to point a gun or pull the trigger. THEY ARE MURDERERS!!!!!!!!!! Of a child at that. This poor boy had no chance, why should they.

What a terrible story, and innocent child, my prayers to the family. I hope knowing these killers are behind bars will help some, but I know it won't ever take away the pain. So anyone who aims a gun at someone and kills them can just claim it's 'an accident.' "Oh, I didn't know it was loaded....".????

Agreed. Hopefully somebody pulls a knife along their throats. Their defense should be "I didn't know the knife was sharp"

You're right. The detectives did their job. It was up to the district attorney to follow thru to conviction and there would have been a conviction. This was wrong!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously?? 14 and 3 years? So after a mother loses her child in her arms, one of two killers will be out in three years living back across the street from her? Don't be surprised when there is another murder across the street from that family of an adult male recently released from prison.

What kind of justice is this!!? The system is a Joke. People are doing more time in prison for assulting someone in a simple fist fight. These Dummies pointed a gun at this poor little child. Let's say it was unloaded that still don't make it right! You dont even point a play gun at someone. Justice hopefully will be served on these two in prison!!

"There's no evidence in this case that the defendants intended to kill someone," said Deputy District Attorney Duke Chau in court.

That is the most rediculous thing I ever heard...They just hid in the window and pointed a "loaded gun" for the hell of it.
I hope they have a loaded something for them when they get to jail...

HELLO!!!!! No Evidence that defendents intended to kill anyone????? what the hell did these guys think a bullet was going to do to this little boy " Their Target ", MAKE HIM tickle and laugh! HOW STUPID, these two "JERKS" knew what live bullets do, they injure and kill. NO EXCUSE, THEY KILLED THIS LITTLE BOY AND THOUGH THEY COULD GET AWAY WITH IT, they were just to dumb to realize how police investigations work and finding where a bullet came from and they got CAUGHT! JERKS SHOULD BE PUT TO DEATH FOR KILLING A BABY BOY. I AM SO DISGUSTED, what is wrong with this system - They KILLED A BABY BOY !! I hope they spend the rest of their life in total Hell.
