What happened on Chino Hills Pkwy tonight? Was it a fatality? My husband tried to get through on his bike and they said it was a crime scene.

Yes it was a fatality but that's all I know. I heard four people died and I heard two people died!

I had just passed it when first 2 officers were on scene like 4:15.it was head on, 2nd car was a Honda Accord. it honestly looked far from how bad it was, front ends on both cars were up to the fire walls, I knew it wasnt good when at 8pm they had it all detoured and flood lights were up.

I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your best friend. Does anyone have anymore information of this horrible accident. Was not able to sleep all night not knowing if this could be someone our family knows. Either way my prayers are with all friends & families involved.

Thats so horrible. I'm so sorry for your loss annais. I'm quite surprised bc the accident and damaged cars didn't look all that bad. I was thinking perhaps one of the cars hit a jogger or bicyclist. I live right off peyton and I have seen so many cars get extremely close to the bicyclists in the bike lane.
Regardless, the victims and families of this tragedy are in my thoughts and prayers. May your friend rest in peace

@ Annaiss, I am so sorry for your loss. I too was coming down from the Vellano area and drove right by the accident after it happened. There were no police yet and I thought that it didn't look too bad. The yellow bug was smashed in the front and the air bags were out. It looked like they were helping someone in the back seat. This is horrible! My heart goes out to the families.

I witnessed the accident. One of the scariest things I ever saw. Happened so quickly. The yellow VW came across three lanes of traffic in a direct line without slowing down or turning at all. The only thing I could think is that something must have happened to the driver of the VW that made them unaware of what was happening. Who ever was in the Accord did not have time to see what was coming or respond. Both cars moving about 40 miles an hour, head on collision. Still rattled from this scene.

Anaiss, so sorry for your loss. I witnessed the accident and was first on scene while my daughter called 911. We smashed the window of the bug and then 2 of us pried the door open.I climbed in to check her pulse, but she was already gone, literally seconds after the collision. Please take a small measure of comfort in that it appeared that she did not suffer, that it was over in an instant. I am praying for everyone affected by this tragedy. Still upsetting to me nearly 24 hrs later.

Single fatality. I spoke to the sheriff's station, and the other driver was due to be released today from Chino valley Hospital. There was only one person in each car.

I am Ali's dad. First, I want to thank everyone for careing. We have received hundreds of heartfelt messages from friends and even those who don't know us or Ali. Ali's facebokk is full of expressions of love from her friends and family. It is gratifying to know that she was loved by so many. She was indeed a sweet, kind and loving person and she received what she gave.

We are so deeeply woumded by her loss. I cannot find words to express how difficult this is.

When things like this happen we want an explanation. We have a theory but it is only that. Ali was scheduled for oral surgery to remove wisdon teeth. This was to occur at 5 pm. She was instructed to fast and not consume water. We beleive that this went from 8 pm wednesday night to the time of the accident. At the hospital, several hours after the death she had a blood test for glucose. It was 45. normal is 100 and the 50's can result in confusion, coma and siezure. There is even anecdotal evidence that this can result in sudden cardiac death. This test is not 100% reliable after death but it may provide an inferance as to the cause of her losing control of the car and suddenly driving accross 3 lanes of traffic. Ali had been a good driver the last 4 years and it is unlikely that she did this without a physical cause that she did not control.

We are concerned for the man she hit and hope that reports of his injuries being moderate and of his release are true.

Our daughter is was and always will be the love of our life. She came to us at age 14 months and she was on loan until now. No one ever belongs to another. On her facebook she made a comment some time ago and expressed that we should always realize that we may not always have those we love and so we need to tell them and apprecaite them. How profetic those words are.

I'm so sorry for your loss Mr. Pirrone I can only imagine how you feel. Take comfort knowing one day you will see her again when God wipes all tears away and death will be no more.
