Yee is an ignorant Chinese immigrant who is looking to make California just like China. This is nothing but political grandstanding. Nobody has ever been murdered with a bullet button equipped rifle.

The next time someone tries to make the claim that liberals aren't trying to take anyone's guns away, look them dead in the face and start laughing at thier stupidity. This law would outlaw 100's of thousand's, of up to this point, legal weapons which would need to be turned in or consfiscated. That folks is taking away guns from the law-abiding citizens that own them.

The most troubling thing about this is that gun control policy is dictated by people who know nothing about guns. "Devices that allow magazines of ammunition to be reloaded so quickly that semiautomatic guns can be fired almost like assault weapons"? So "assault weapons", which for nearly 20 years has described semiautomatic rifles, now means "machine gun"? This is why there can never be a "rational discussion" about "sensible gun control". In order have a discussion, all sides have to agree on at least some facts; gun-control advocates ignore them.

These are machines designed to withstand an internal explosion, over and over.

This means that they will, for all practical purposes, never wear out.

Thus the law abiding will be affected by the laws, to the point of confiscation of any and all weapons, while the criminal element will always have access to those weapons that were "lost" or "stolen", or just never kept track of, pretty much forever.

Criminals and liberals - hand in hand in their aims.
