We as citizen's of calumet county must do everything we can to keep PBC's out of our landfill. This cancer causing agent cannot be contained in any way. It is the functiopn of these molecules to find their way to the surface from any form of containment. They cause cancer by direct contact, breathing them in,and swimming and drinking water that comtains them. We must stop this highly toxic chemical agent from getting into our landfills.
We already are 10 to the 43rd power greater than the safe level for another cancer agent, Acroline,it's a defoliant, and it's concentration in our county makes us the second worst polluted county next to Milwaukee county which is number one in the State. There are cancer clusters all along the killsnake river as well as other areas where this agent is used. We cannot allow another cancer causing agent to be placed anywhere in Calumet County. We cannot sacrifice our Grandchildren for the money that's paid to store in landfills or use on our fields cancer causing agents of any kind at any price.
