Now that the KBRA is stalled in congress and probably ain't even going to happen, I'm just wondering how much money has been spent on trips to DC and spent by whom? The membership has a right to know. Are these trips still being made? If so WHOOO is making these trips and WHY? Where are all those JOBS that were promised?Just asking.

This question has been asked every year since the forced referendum! Here we are years later! Did we have time to think this thing over before voting? The question of how much money this group spent traveling the country for the KBRA?
It has been asked and they never will tell! Right Jeff and Donnie? When u do decide to tell get the limousine for the general council to pick them up for the meeting! And!
Compare the price of your negotiating and your argument that litigation for water rights is too expensive?
Are you and your family having trouble with housing, health services and education of your children? And just daily living?

They were used and dont even know it. The US Govt is handling the evolution of this debacle exactly like they want to. When have they not gotten what they wanted?... and believe me they want the water. They are not about to pay for some land with dying fence posts and no water on it! It would still be theirs even if they paid for it!, which is already fact, they wont or are not going to. Too much local opposition. Hey, I was fooled too.

Thats what happens when you let 1 wannabe and 3 white guys make your "negotiations" for you. Way to go team!

Yep! The U.S. Forest Service and State Game are using the "tribal reps" (glory hounds) to get exactly what they want. Just to take a picture for the news media with any official and these glory seekers will hand it right over. Doesn't matter what the rest of the tribe thinks or suffers. I think it's time to completely get rid of this "team". But not before a complete investigation of their actions and expense accounts. Just my thoughts.

How can 3 non indians (Will Hatcher, Larry Dunsmore, & Bud Ullman) and 1 facsimile of an Indian (JM) decide what is best for a tribe on INDIAN people? The Antelope desert? I think their brains are dehydrated!

Will Hatcher already has setup the mill in Gilhcrist with contracts for timber off the MTF if and when the tribe gets the land. There will never be jobs or resources for tribal members (except for a select few the Negt. team sees fit to receive)and the tribe will be in debt into the foreseeable future.

The worst thing that ever happened to this tribe is putting Will Hatcher in charge of the Natural Resources. He is as non-Indian as they come and would sell this tribe out in a New York minute. I wonder how he got put in charge ofthe Nat Res? Didnt Don G. have twice as many years in than Swill? I wonder if his cousin (Jeff Mitchel's wife) Kathleen had anything to do with it? This tribal TC and ADmin is like a terrible soap opera that wont get cancelled because all the stupidity in this Dynasty tribe is too entertaining to the outsiders!
Whos paying lease option

It seems like u came late to the party asking the above questions but legitimate and asked often!
If there are contracts he's faking it to appear that they are not wasting the tribes money! And they are legitimate! What happens if legislation doesn't
Pass! They committed the governments money to paying for Mazama which cost 29 million! Legislation only pays 21 million! And is tribe continuing to pay lease with option to buy!
Bunch of amateurs! But boy did they get paid!
Gentrys a pawn with a big head!

You guys voted for it! Maybe you should have researched before jumping on the wagon and voting for something you knew nothing about. If you don't like what's happening, get out there and force a new vote!

Touche' We voted in the most worthless tribal council ever as well. Wish we could do like certain members of the existing council did and try to overthrow them all illegally. but that would make us no better than their worthless buns are. Know where else but the Klamath Tribe will someone think they can do better only to make things worse.

Your such an ass! They had a dictionary size agreement to read. In a week and vote! And we are suppose to trust the worst perpetrators of tribal business! Which lie do you force a vote on?
Just vote a new tribal council! And get all these people out of natural resources! That's the best start you can make! The tribe is so divided by these $!#*%! They did well to confuse and raid!
And their still there!

Well again, do something about it. Don't just sit there and complain! If you are an enrolled member get a petition together and vote the $!#*%! out!
You say the dictionary size agreement and a week to vote, come on maybe that alone should have told you mabye something is wrong with this? Anyone who makes you agree to something without giving time to research and explain then the outcome is not going to be good! Sounds like the US Government is involved with this and think, it's just the same stupid indians we took everything away from before, we can do it again and again!! Just waive a little bit of money under thier nose and the few greedy people will force the others to stay inline and vote anyway they want. Over and over again! Kinda like the ol saying of putting your hand over you face and tellin them to hit your hand!

Your a phoney! It's already being reviewed for legislation! You can't stop the process in motion!
The tribe doesn't even have a liaison that would tell everyone wherd they are in the process! Just the crooked bums that close door negotiated the agreement!
The chairmans to dumb and cares less to help! He got the money he could get as chairman! He's too busy taking care of his people's cemeteries! It's very lucrative to take care of the dead! I can see them waiting for him in the afterlife for his admirable accomplishments!

You missed the point, WHAT was talking about the Tribal Government too! That's what I was stating, you can get rid of the bad eggs in the Tribal Government! If you can't understand that then put your hand on your face & tell your chairman to hit it! As far as the KBRA & KHSA if the Tribes backed out, that would make a great statement to everyone that RIGHTS can't be bought! It ain't over until the Fat Lady sings! We know who that is!

A referendum was voted on! You can't back out its
Waiting for the vote! They'll probably sneak it in when their compromising the fiscal cliff! The joke will probably get through! Obama will be president! It's backed by merkley and Wyden!
Their pawns to California's agriculture and basin agriculture and most of all the power of pacific power! Mitchell has helped pacific power get off the hook for any costs and damages to all the tribes on the Klamath River! The only smart tribe that understands the value of tribal treaty rights are the Hoopa! Who's litigation against those BS could stop them and deter the legislators!
Whatever you think about that tribe they are a salmon culture! Like Klamaths claim they are! The Klamaths are the social dependence culture!
If you want to call that a culture!

Explain to me how something that was signed by a person not in office be legal? Also since when does a referendum that breaks the constitution count as anything? Signing away treaty rights of the Modoc tribe is breaking the constitution. So the whole thing is illegal & reaks of corruption by the Tribal Government. I for one have always stated NO ONE can take The Modoc Tribes rights away! They are not for sale! Not now, not ever!

Wow where you been! Legislation by the legislative branches of government regardless of what a tribe who has been scammed by its own,
Still can become law and take out the treaty!
That's how the Klamath tribes was terminated the last time!
That's why in this political season they talked about a republican majority legislating abortion as illegal!

Whatever the Federal Government rules does not matter on an illegal act! Even the Hoopa's are doing something about it!
The Tribes do not uphold thier own constitution and therefore is invalid! The Tribes do not represent the Modocs any more. Sad days ahead for the Klamath's since thier government no longer supports the will of thier own people! I feel sorry for anyone who stays with such a corrupt greedy government and does not over throw it!

Munlaki? Your back, where you been? Did you just get out of jail? Now we have to listen to your crap. Last time I looked the Modocs were still part of the Klamath, Modoc and Yahooskin treaty. Not the Modocs your "MISLEADING".
