My thought is this:
A few smart natives should look into grants, and try to secure the Big Gym. It could become a Native Facility.

Why does it need to be saved? And why should the Natives save it? Just so they can get charged to use it? I'm not trying to sound like a smart a$$~~I'm Just curious.. I think The Natives Should have their own facility.. Wouldn't that be nice?

$7.2 Million is waiting in Washington, D.C. to build and fund all operational costs for a health and fitness center for the past 3-4 years! We could have 3-4 basketball courts, an indoor walking track, a number of weight-rooms and fitness rooms, an indoor swimming pool, an outdoor swimming pool, a day-care center start, and everything else imaginable!$7.2 Million just waiting to build it for us, but politics is in the way! Me and Lil' Lou packaged this facility that got D.C.'s full attention and full buy-in but political factions are in the way! Step up and vote for those that will put down the political fence, and will let this happen for our Tribes!

Nampa Idaho has a facility similar to the one described above. Perhaps you could contact the chamber there and learn the methods they used to secure the costs?

For Chiloquin KIDD's information, Klamath Tribal Health gave all project hands over to Rich Rose (a non-Tribal member) who pleads his case with having a Master's in Business Adminstration (an MBA), and the Tribes'$2-Million Chiloquin Facility turned into a $6 to 7-million facility during the entire construction. It's easier for Tribal Health to CLAIM that they will build a "Wellness Center," rather than give props to the Tribes' Planning Deparment's employees that shopped the idea amongst the community, than have Washington D.C. Directors commit $7.2-Million to a money-making facility that would benefit the entire Northern Klamath County population that holds it complicated to drive into Klamath Falls to pay for an unsubstantiated membership that the Federal Government duly owes to this small population and is fully ready to fund 100% based on the Tribes' Planning Department's Proposal that is fully waiting to pay for the all-out construction and operation for the community of Chiloquin and all outside lying areas, but lets governmental interference keep from happening!

Personally, I have a friend in the construction industry out of KFalls, that let me know that the bid was for a couple million dollars, but the final bills would add up to around 6-million dollars! This is the trust that Tribal Council put into a degree'd Non-Tribal Member over a degree'd Tribal Member that would have kept the contractor at COST!

You are a pot addict, you’ve gone mental, and they will take you away to a mental institution.

My response is Ed Case hasnt done sh*t for the tribe except for beefing up his ranch. Go ahead and blame the white guy for all the f*cked up sh*t. If you try to accomplhish anything at Admin or Health people will tear it down. It nice to finally see the truck stop. Oh my bad thats right that truck stop is in Chemult. Peanut, stick to what you know, but go to town to peek in da windows bra.

The Case Ranch has been built on original ALLOTMENT lands that has not left the Case Family. The ENTIRE CASE FAMILY should be applauded for keeping originally allotted Tribal Family Lands in the Family. What other family can claim this since Termination? Probably None! The "white guy" did award a construction company a $2-million bid, but the ending bills cost our Tribes $6-$7 Million that results in Tribal Members' medical and dental needs to be put on hold until the Tribes' Health and Family Services Organization can pay its way out of the red. The Truck Stop in Chemult is the result of Tribal Council seeking lower than 13.5% interest rates from ALL of Klamath County's prospective banking investors that is set too high by Tribal Council who has a ceiling limit of 12.5%, and we had to seek lower interest rates. We found Native American Bank who offered the Tribes Published Wall Street Journal's Prime Rate + 1.5 %. Back in 2001 it would have been 4.00%+ 1.5% equaling 5.5 %. But Tribal Council members felt that if the interest rate could drop from 13.5% to 5.5%, there should be some lender that could offer 0%! And the $500 bank application fee should be waived, and NAB declined on their ability to make money on their investment to fund our Truck Stop Facility! I'm sticking to what I know, and everything you say against me bears zero weight because business numbers walk the walk, and you still talk your bulls**t! The Truck Stop was ready to be financed since February of 2001! But certain Tribal Council Members voted against it, because they wanted a 0% financing package and a $0 offering for the bank's application fee! Sticking to my facts, and your peekin in da windows you can't pass on to someone else to keep people from realizing that you are the true peeper and try to pass it off to someone else, that will carry us up into the economic prominence that we are destined for! Quit peeping on s**t you try to pass on someone else that keeps the population from wondering about the incompetent's who continually look for someone else to pass your shortfalls upon, because you have nowhere else to run away from!

GREAT! A job you're MOST QUALIFIED to apply for! Don't cry around if you remain unemployed because you did not apply for a job you felt you were ABOVE applying for! Damn those dirty windows! You could have really made a difference to clearly see out of! DAMNNNN!!!

Doesn't the Klamath County school district own the Big Gym property? If anything was to get done about the gym the school district would have their say about it. The gym needs a facelift and to build another gym next to it with a good conessions stand with better restrooms. We also need better bleachers in the old gym.
