On October 20,2010 the same promise wa made to New Bedford .

In the past three years large cranes have been built at Quonset Point, Rhode Island. The cranes were built with the help of a federal Tiger grant of 22.3 million dollars. The Quonset Point project will start the Deep Water wind project as well as the Cape Wind project

The New Bedford Port has 35 feet of ledge, PCBs,underground fuel tanks and a factory crushed into the land fill with asbestos.

The projected cost three years ago was 35 million today 100 million tommorrow another Big Dig
