I would like to know if the DEA had a tracking device in the vehicle why did the family have to agonize for 3 days before their family member was located? And to Brian, yes, this young lady appears to have made some bad choices but she is someone's daughter, someone's sister, etc.

yes i have heard of that happen was it by 7 mile lanes cause my freind told me were she was found was there casue i leave close by there and alot of ppl talkin bout it well all i have to says is that sad and purley wrong. crime rates are to high in baltimore but one whay of keeping them down is by legalizing marijuana and tax'in it will help alot out frist of children wont have to buy this herb on the streets and buying something laced with crack dope or even e. plus it will avoid most adults and teens from getting robbed or shot. the goverment has to think of whays to help not make promblems worse legalize stop crime rates going up and putting money in dangerous drug dealers.but rather to the state. control and regulate.

What we all need to see as a friend of Sintia is that she was a well educated women with a lot going for herself. At 25 she has accomplished things people twice her age haven't. The media is focused on the wrong thing at this time, can she RIP. As stated if there was GPS on her car the FBI should know every move her made and as soon as she went missing she should have been located. Personaly i don't appreciate the way the media is prortarying this well educated accomplish women. If you knew her there is nothing negative you could say about her.

To some extent I agree with you. IT IS unfortunate that this young life was extinguished, but you have to be careful of your associates...because when you live a certain lifestyle or even the slightest involvment you never know what the consequences may be.. Hopefully we can celebrate her life and we (especially her friends) can take from this a lesson of becareful of your associates because your past can come back to haunt you. |

It is very unfortunate what has taken place. How many times do we have to read stories such as this for young women, and men, to realize that the glamour of street life is short lived. The shiny rides, name brand, over-priced clothing, the need to have a new hair-do and nail-do every week, oftentimes these shallow things lead to a path of destruction. As sad as it is, will it happen again? Undoubtedly, Yes!! And as strange as it may sound, some of Sintia's friends may be the next victim because they will be unable to say no to the lure of the streets. So if you really want to pay homage to her memory, learn from her mistakes. As bright and beautiful as she was, when it came to someone taking her life, they didn't give those things a second thought...he could care less.

By Selena Deveux of Associated Press Update: WASHINGTON - Sources tell Associated Press News they are pursuing some strong leads in the shoplifting mob that struck a Logan Circle-area clothing store in a crime caught on tape and posted on YouTube. And other local stores say they've been hit by the mobs, too. The robbery happened about 7 p.m. Wednesday. Nine men supposely from a street Mexican gang in their teens or early 20s entered the Universal Gear store in the 1500 block of 14th Street NW. Others stayed outside. The surveillance video shows the men head to clothing racks and begin grabbing apparel. They run for the door, where store manager Kris Johnson and employee Jorge Sosa tried to stop them, they got attacked in the process and they told police that since the beginning of spring, theft and violence have skyrocketed in the area neighborhoods. "It was a crazy thing for me to do because maybe they had a gun and they could shoot me or they could pull out a lighter and set me on fire. Money and bills get taken and things are getting worse as the spring continues," Suazo said. "Your instincts just kick in and you have to protect yourself and your personnel too," added Johnson, who says he was punched, kicked and thrown to the floor in the altercation. "latino and Mexican gangs are coming in to create a scene and to harrass and intimidate customers and staff and as the murcury on the thermometer rises, so does the crime" said Johnson. |
