I don't feel particularly chatty tonight... I can go for hours & days without speaking... what shall we talk about?

OK, Jerry.... 15 minutes and 1 long drink later I am beginning to feel chatty. You do know though... like Dean Martin & Red Skelton... I am faking the drinking part... dang, I just dated myself there... you children are too young to remember. I turn another BD this week.. but don't care... another jewel on my crown.

Happy Birthday. You should have one of those 35 oz ribeye steaks like Outback has been advertising

I missed that... but, Golden Coral sent me a BD email with a coupon for a free dinner... and Ponderosa & Red Lobster each sent me a $5.00 off coupon for my BD. I guess I am an outcast at the Outback. I wish the Old Cannal Steak House knew me.

I just want you to understand that I hid the thread that we were chatting on because the title of the thread gave the impression anyone can start a thread here. You and the others on Your forum can start threads here but that's the limit. This is the 'Jerry's Place' forum. Not Jerry's zoo.

Now I'm trying to picture the size of the baked potato that comes with that.

Yes, Thursday. I am a Cancer sign.... sensitive, very creative, intuitive... and a pure genius skitzo!

But I no longer like the term "Sensitive"... since back in my day that word has been changed to some totally different meaning along with gay, pride, gender, queer, pink rainbow, marriage, restrooms. Not meaning for hating or derogetory remarks here in what I said... merely meant words meanings have changed since my day. I am old school. I can actually draw my Social Security Retirement now if I wanted... if the job keeps overworking me I will... and maybe I can take side work under the table with the Spook?

Does anyone know is it propper English to begin a sentence with the word "but"? I can't remember much from High School English, but it seems I remember "but" is a proposition and it is not allowed to begin a sentence with but. Anyway, I started my previous paragraph with a but, and have seen this done before so was unsure if propper English had changed? I lived in Mississippi 23 yr and lost some of my propper English and have not been able to regain. Ya'll help me.

Weird things are happening with my topix registered account... it keeps singing me out and some of my trakers were turned off not by me. I've tried to go back into my topix account to reset my password just in case I have a hacker but, I cannot find my personal registered account settings or the place to reset my password... where is this? If weird things happen in my name this is why, I may have been hacked.

To reset your password you hit that forgot your password link under the sign in. Topix will send a link to your email to change it.

Glinda is probably the person to ask about things like that. She knows topix better than anyone else I've met here.

I didn't overlook your knowledge of these things, I told cowface in a PM a few hours ago he should ask you :)

Oh I see how it works on the Chatter Box Forum... I just now get chatty late at night... and everyone goes to bed.

How bout a story then... my Mom, God rest her soul, was a great mom I loved her. However, Mom read or heard somewhere that sleeping with a pillow caused back problems, probably from Dr. Spock nut case.

Lord knows where she heard that, but faithful to trying to be a good mom she did not give my brother and I pillows to sleep with, even though Mom & Dad both slept with pillows. I guess their backs were already bad and it no longer mattered. Well, I wanted a bad back too along with a pillow! Nonetheless, I grew up sleeping on a bare hard matress with no pillow and with quite some discomfort I might add.

Then, when we were about 10 one day we each got an Easter basket filled with eggs and a small soft cuddly stuffed Eater Bunny about 2" X 5" big. I immedieatly started using that itty bitty stuffed bunny for a pillow every night in bed. Over a coarse of time Mom saw and realized I was using the little stuffed bunny only 2" thick for a tiny pillow to sleep on at night.

Fortunately Mom repented of her bad back/pillow theroy, and realized I really wanted/needed a pillow and so she bought my brother and I our very own pillows to sleep on for the very first time.

I sleep well now upon a pillow... but I think the childhood trauma of the pillow deprivation keeps me awake late and unable to sleep. I am thinking I need to find me another stuffed bunny to sleep with. Thanks Mom!

Thanks, and I tried, but topix didn't recognize my email address.... but then let me sign back in with the same email. Weird, I will have to try later in a few days when I have time to access from our real lap top computer... getting no where from mobile devices.

I didn't take offense Jerry; Glinda is very knowledgeable. Cowface's problems with Topix are more than I have dealt with. Glinda might be able to offer some advice.

I understand she thought she was doing the right thing, but that's kinda a sad story. I put different colored pillowcases on our pillows, so there is no fighting over who has who's favorite pillow.
