i thouht they were very nice. my soon to be son-in-law lot his glasses on the trail. the ghoul stopped and helped him with a flashlight look for them. we found them hanging on the netting of the tunnel. super nice people.
they truly are nice people and I've never known them to be rude to anyone even if someone is rude to them. These volunteers are a great group of people. These are people who put their lives on the line to battle house fires because they care about people, so I find it hard to believe they would be rude at an event they are putting on.

Curious as to if the trail is hard to walk? Tight spots? Things to trip on easily? I've never been and would like to take my mom and dad. Anything a heavyset person could not get through or do? Thank you

It is run by volunteers from the fire department.. No one gets paid.. All the money made goes back to the fire department.. the same people spending 10+ hours every saturday in october to get dressed, set the trail up, and try to scare you are the same people who respond when you call because your house is on fire, your mother is not breathing, your child got hurt on the farm... These people work hard to raise money that is then used to buy equipment to save your lives later on.. I went last year. It was fun. There were a group of high school kids pushing staff, running off trail, ect.. Staff (unpaid) handled it very well..never touched a single kid. These people put up with alot to raise money for a good cause

I understand it's volunteers... My husband is an emt/firefighter volunteer ... Most of the people doing terror in hills aren't the ones who actually show up to help... They are the ones who are in it for the attention and to be in charge of something.... I challenge you to look at the run records... See how many times these people actually show up when there is nothing in it for them!!

I understand that completely... But what I was replying to was that these are the same people showing up to help when you need them.... You just said it yourself.... That they don't show up when there's no limelight
