oh my god no... First of all they rip u off. When I went to OUC my overage check was over three thousand dollars. Then I went to daymar and the highest check I got was 700 dollars. They charged me 900 for a book for one class not all my classes that quarter but one class. Then when you graduate they promise you job security for the rest of your life, well honey I have yet to even get a job. They actually treat you as if your in high school you miss three days they knock you from an A to a B, not kidding at all.The so-called professors there are a joke half of them have a degree in something that has nothing at all to do with what they teach no joke. One in particular teaches classes in medical field law enforcement and get this business no joke.Have you ever heard of a college where everybody but maybe three students make the deans list.lmao no joke. The best thing Ive ever came across in my whole time at the school was Mr.Archer he is the only one who seemed to care. So if you wanna pay for the deans house and be broke because nobody wants to hire a dymar student so you will not even be able to pay back your financial aid go ahead. Let me tell you what to do. Columbus state, shawnee state or devry. You can even do online classes and learn more than what you can at daymar (notice I did not capitalize that word).O my what else I will remember and post it. HIRRIBLE HORRIBLE, I honestly can not believe the govt allows us to recieve financial aid for a plce like that.O yeah you can not even transfer credits to another school except devry and shawnee so that should tell you something is not right.

Not a good school. Please don't waste your time or money on it. The teachers they have don't know how to do what they are teaching....

My personal expirence is, yes daymar is expensive. But its a private college. They have alot of caring instructors. As for the attendance. Do you realize if you were in a nursing program at a higher up college that if you miss one day you get kicked out of the whole program...not just that class but the whole program so be thankful that daymar is leinant. Your whole expirence depends on your attitude. I went right out and found a job as a medical records director after i got my degree. A job cannont just be handed to you.

IF A JOB CAN NOT BE HANDED TO YOU , WHY DO THEY PROMISE YOU JOB SECURITY FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. THEY HAVE YET TO EVEN SET UP AN INTERVIEW FOR ME. AND THE PLACES I WENT TO ON MY OWN AND GOT INTERVIEWS AS SOON AS THEY REALIZED MY DEGREE CAME FROM DAYMAR I WAS BASICALLY LAUGHED AT AND TOLD THE POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED.I SPEAK TO EVERYBODY I WENT TO SCHOOL WITH THERE, ON A DAILY BASIS AND THEY ARE STILL IN THE SAME BOAT AS I AM. BROKE WITH NO JOB. AND AS FAR AS THE ATTENDANCE THING. WHEN I WENT TO SCHOOL AT OUC , AS LONG AS MY WORK WAS DONE AND I TOOK MY EXAMS, MY ATTENDANCE DIDNT MATTER AT ALL. DAYMAR IS A JOKE, I SO AGREE W NOSEY. UNLESS YOU JUST WANNA SAY YOU GO TO SCHOOL, AND YOU HAVE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO WASTE, GO AHEAD AND GO TO DAYMAR. I GUARANTEE YOU WILL GET YOUR INCOME TAX CHECKS TOOK WHILE YOUR WORKING AT MICKEY DS OR SOMEWHERE BECAUSE YOU DEFINITELY WILL NOT LAND A JOB IN THE MEDICAL FIELD(UNLEES YOU GET LUCKY) TO BE ABLE TO PAY BACK YOUR STUDENT LOANS. I AM HERE TO HELP PEOPLE TO NOT MAKE THE WRONG DECISIONS. AND DAYMAR IS MOST DEFINITELY A WRONG DECISION. PERIOD

Yes in my experience with Daymar they are very expensive, however I enjoy the one on one teaching and also how much the teachers really do care. They stick their necks out for their students. I guess it would be on a case by case basis. I do know of SEVERAL people being hired at many different places, such as: Adena, Berger, private dr. Offices, ect.. they also NEVER promise job placement. They to promise to provide you with the tools you need to succeed. If you don't like the cost don't enroll. Pretty simple.

Try the Kaplan college program in Columbus. I go there and it's only 9 months and 15k. I know people who have graduated from the medical assistant program and have gotten jobs very quick. Much better than daymar

From reading these posts I am sure of one thing, I want to stay away from any college that graduated you fucktards. Are you seriously complaining about being reprimanded for missing three days of one class? Did I hear you correctly in that OU permits this? You, my fine feathered fucktard, are completely full of shit. I have a idea, go to a university and try that. NO college promises work security for life. If you believed that you had no business going to college, you should start over, first grade. Getting an education is what you make of it. College is not high school; it is up to the individual to get the education they desire. I have yet to meet a professor that will require you to get an education. As for the “refund check” I would hope that you are returning that money back to financial aid. If this is a loan you will be required to pay this money back after you fail or graduate.

I'm a Kaplan Graduate, and damn I am a dumbass for wasting my time and money. I've heard decent things about medical assisting but nothing else in that school is worth a damn. Your credits only transfer to ITT, and thats not even all of them. Kaplan is a joke, get out while you can. I owe 15,000 dollars and have to start completely over in school 3 years later. Just be careful for real.

first of all daymar is a pretty damn school. i love the small classes! and they don't promise you a job right after graduating so pay attention. Yeah i don't like the coast of the books either. But still its a nice school! The only people on here that would complain about the school are the one's who dropped out! so stfu!

Yep I went to Daymar and graduated with a business degree 2 years ago still cant get a job in my field the interviewers have told me that Daymar is not even looked at as a college its more like the vocational school except really expensive. They will tell you anything you want to hear to get you in the door and get your money. I would never recommend anyone go there and yes Bob Archer is the only person there that really does care.
