Town And Country Animal Clinc on E Main St. Wouldn't take my babies anywhere else. Wonderful, caring people. Highly recommend them.

Go to the VA. There are probably several over there.

I also recommend Lisa Uhrig Pelfrey on Western Ave., Across from Taco Bell. I have taken my cats to her for several years. She and her staff have always been good to my pets.

I recommend either of the above two, but if I had to pick it would be town and country.

Although I don't think Town and Country works on anything much larger than a dog anymore, which is a shame.

Maybe they should change their name to 'Town Animal Clinic'

I have two cats and two dogs. I have went to town and country animal clinic and they were nice but not as professional as tharp animal clinic. you will pay alittle more there but, the service is outstanding and trustworthy. the doctor there is a nice older christan man and is very knowlageable. im not saying that the other vets in town are bad, tharp just meets standards that others dont. for that reason, i take my pets to tharp animal clinic.

I would recommend Town and Country Animal Clinic. When I decided to buy a rough coat collie, Katrina (the owner/ vet ) took it upon herself to take a course on collie care (they are a very sensative breed when it comes to medicines and whatnot) and also purchased a medical book on them for reference just so she could care for him! It was invaluable when he developed a rare salvitory gland disease and she saved his life for me! As for the professionalism of the clinic, I have never had any issues with the service or attitude of the employees. They are proffesional and friendly. It is a little more relaxed atmosphere than some vet clinics but, I personally like to feel like I am part of the family and not just an income source. Katrina also came to my mother's home to end the suffering of one of her elderly dogs as to avoid causing trauma to the poor thing by forcing her into a car which terrified her and went to her office for me at almost 10 at night on a Sunday to care for my animals when we had a house fire and they had smoke inhalation! Good luck finding a vet that will work for you and take good care of your furry kids!

We take our dog to Lisa Pelfrey, she is very gentle with her and her prices are very reasonable! We have went on vacation twice this year and had to board our dog at North Fork Animal clinic, because dr. Pelfrey doesn't offer boarding. And I will tell you, I will NEVER take one of my animals back there! We had them go ahead and administer her kennel cough and rabies vac. Because she was there, both times it should have cost less than $100 dollars, but they took it upon theirselves to do bloodwork and physical exams. It ended up costing us almost $150 both times for 3-5 day stays!

I go to tharp and just love how they care for my animals. You can tell they actually really care. But north fork is a joke they only care bout money and diagnosed my dog with something he didnt even have. Was very upset with them!
