What makes someone get a neck tattoo?
As soon as I see someone with one I think 1. Drug Addict. 2. Doesn't want a job.
I mean, when you sit on the tattoo chair what about a neck tattoo seems like a good idea?

Tattoos make boring people interesting. And they let people know right away I think of myself as extreme and wild. I donít actually have a personality but I can buy one and I have issues with my parents and relating to others.

Agreed. Used to be only the outcast hardass type had a tattoo, now every 300lb x-box live gamer living in their parents basement has full sleeves lol.

If it has actual sentiment behind it like a military tat or something significant then fine I have no problem with them. However when a little white boy from the burbs gets thug life tattooed on his knuckles or that idiot I see walking around Chillicothe with a face tattoo (seriously a pudgy moron with a face tat lol) I think like bar owners tattoo artists should be held responsible for the damage they inflict on the public. Or celebrated for helping to identify idiots Iím not sure yet. I love the irony that most people with tattoos donít want to be grouped together and yet know they will when they get one.

It's more unique to find a woman over 30 not all skanked up with tats now. Used to be the other way around.

It seems or tattoo leads to another and before you know it they are just getting them because they are bored.

This is funny to me. Let me tell you why, I'm sure you're dying to know. I have several tattoos, yet I am not a person who would ever get one on my neck. All of mine can be covered while I'm at work and I'm a sharp-dressed-gal.
Additionally, each of my tattoos has their own story and is not necessary to prove that I'm not "boring" or lack "personality." (Quite the opposite actually) Oh, and I hate to disappoint ya, but I don't have any that say "Thug Life."

As far as people with tats on their faces... One of those face-tatted guys is a predator, so I'm glad he has that sh*t on his face, makes for easy-spotting!
One more thing- I bet all the people you're judging in this forum are out having a good time on this Friday night instead of sitting on a computer talking smack about people with tattoos.(Pansies)

You people are pretty funny judging people and stereo typing.. I know plenty of people with tattoos including myself and my family members and we are nothing like you have described maybe if you actually have people a chance and actually had a conversation with them you would realize their just like everyone else.. Tattoos are art work some better then others.. So maybe you should step off your high horse and quit judging people!!

Congratulations on finding the reply link. I love when tatted morons get all defensive when you point out how stupid and bland they are. You knew when you went under the needle people would judge you thatís why you did it dumb-ass! You wanted to express yourself and when expressing yourself you must accept criticism. And I donít care who you are a Tasmanian devil tattoo is stupid. Iím not even attempting to imply that all people with tattoos are imbeciles just the majority of people with tattoos are. Itís the same argument with people that have fake tits ďdonít judge meĒ you needed some way to get attention so you got a tattoo instead of a personality. And since I already mentioned in a previous post I had no problem with people that had meaningful tattoos I have to derive from your defensive tone moron that you have self-indulgent fashion tats youíre a freaking sheep that thought it would look cool your bland accept it.

Smartiepants. You absolutely prove my point about people with tattoos being morons (not all just the majority). Thank you so much I couldnít have proved my point any better you are like manna from heaven. You yourself have tattoos and you actually said ďI bet all the people you're judging in this forum are out having a good time on this Friday night instead of sitting on a computer talking smack about people with tattoos.Ē And youíre not and Iím judging you! god love you, you little window licker you brighten my day. Iím crying over here I couldnít have set that up any better aaah just too perfect.

So let me see if I have this straight.... I am a female over 30 and have tattoos (10 actually) so that makes me a tattooed skank? Hmmmm.....thank you for informing me of this! I am devastated to learn I am not the person I thought I was......
I guess being well educated, having a great job, being clean, honest, dependable, taking care of my children, and not judging other people is just a waste of my time. Thank you sooo much for letting me know! Now I can just sit on my ass, mooch off society, be a barfly, and FiNALLY get that neck tattoo so I am more easily identifiable to you high society folks!

I think tattoos on necks are just plain stupid. The ones I see are usually someones name or property of so and so..just plain silly. I went to a wedding once and the bride was a beautiful young lady and had a very expensive, beautiful strapless gown. Well, here comes the bride..with her arms, back and chest area all tattoed up. That is all I seen...not this beautiful girl in a beautiful dress..just her tattoed up body. Everybody was talking. Sometimes I see someone with tattoos all over that aren't very good and immediatly wonder if they were in prison and had prison tatts. I will bever understand anyone putting one on their face though. Who would hire someone with their face all tattoed up?

Iím still cracking up I canít stop laughing at you that was just brilliant. Smartiepants youíre the type of woman that would sign a petition to help prevent Womenís suffrage because you care. Aaaah just toooo precious I understand you going to get upset that Iím laughing at you kitten. Iím sure people tell you how smart you are while looking at your breasts. Remember Iím just a tattooless pansy boy not having fun on a Friday night.

No youíre a morn who feels the need to defend every person that has tattoos because you have some. I would say you donít qualify as one of the boring idiots with tattoos. However you need to defend yourself places you in the herd with the other sheep. You might want to work on that persecution complex you have there. We donít know you so how could we be speaking of you yet you felt insulted. Now why do you think that is?

It has always amazed me that people get visible tattoos (by that I mean tattoos that cannot be concealed) I donít care who you are tattoos are ugly. Chris Ofili was an artist he created art however I donít see people smearing themselves with dung to express themselves through art. If you love art so much create or bye some, still be prepared if you have a Chris Ofili hanging on your wall people will still say it looks like shit. The wall has no right to be offended by what people think of the art placed upon it. And why do we cover up walls because their bland so we feel the need to cover them with something to look at to make them more interesting. People with tattoos feel the need to force significance instead of being significant themselves. Tattoos scream from the skin I have issues I can resolve like an adult.

Stephen Robinson-- I would assume most people would see the fact I was replying to ignorance with sarcastic humor. I appreciate that you did acknowledge that I dont qualify as one of the boring idiots with tattoos. I would also like to thank you for telling me what I actually am. I find your personality diagnosis to be highly entertaining and that is helpful to a tired "morn" working a 12 hour shift! Oh, and about my "Persecution complex".... Sorry dear....just having a slow night at work and I was entertaining myself with a little sarcasm on here. I could care less what anyone thinks of my tattoos or anyone else's for that matter. My tattoos are for me and have meaning for me...... If someone has an issue with that, I feel for them because, it has no bearing on my life.

The reply link in right there in the corner. Your attempt at sarcasm failed (not completely it was obvious you had taken offence to the comment). And youíre welcome for personality diagnosis. Another tidbit that you managed to reproduce and are forced to take care of that problem bares nothing on the discussion a childless person works just as hard as you do please stop portraying your children as a disability its insulting to good parents. However I donít think you needed me to tell you about yourself Iím sure you have heard it all before and just ignored it.Ē My tattoos are for me and have meaning for meĒ let me guess they represent something so important you had to ink it on your skin or you would forget it. Sounds real meaningful I can remember where I bought my socks without prompting so what is so forgettable and important you need to ink it on your skin? Oh and your still defending if it didnít matter you should just stop. Or maybe get it inked
