My wife and I drove to Chillicothe to look into purchasing a vehicle. I had heard many good things about them, but to my surprise I didn't have a pleasant experience. I was first greeted by a younger gentleman I am not 100% on what his name was Brant or Brent, something of that sorts. I had questions, but he seemed as if he had better things to do than to deal with us. He was extremely rude to the point my wife insisted we leave. I give everyone the benefit of the doubt, so I thought maybe he was having a bad day. As my wife and I continued to look we noticed him speaking to another employee in a very harsh manner. He came back over to where we were and made a inappropriate remark about the employee. By that time I couldn't believe this man's behavior. Of all the good things I had heard to be subjected to such a display. My wife and I left shortly after, to visit another dealership. For a company with such a name for itself is throwing it down the tubes by having employees who behave in such a way. I was half tempted to get the owner's number. It is a shame that someone like that can drive the people he is suppose to be helping away. Something truly needs to be done around there. I have been a business man for over 30 years and I would never stand for one of my employees showing that kind of treatment to a customer or a fellow co-worker. I can honestly say I would never go back.

Nourse is horrible at customer service and great and sitting around doing nothing. They have been rude to me twice and I went to Hernnstein where they are down to earth and bought 2 vehicles. Nourse cuts their own throats

His name is Brent Dryden. Nothing good ever said about him from anyone that knows him. Supposedly, he got the job as general manager at nourse because his dad is close friends with dick nourse. He is an arrogant, spoiled, pathetic rat who is more concerned with his golf swing rather than business and customer service. I was purchasing a vehicle a few months back and also heard him speaking to his employees in a rude manner. More than likely he is one of those people who have been handed everything, was a nobody in his younger years and looked down on by everyone and now has little man syndrome because for this first time in his life he doesn't have to feel inferior. Nourse nearly lost my business as well as a few friends due to this man's unnecessary demeanor. I did notice that a few of the employees would act interested in his ignorance, but as soon as he would leave the building it was clear that they were laughing at him, rather than with him. Regardless, for as long as this weasel works for nourse, my business will be elsewhere and I will be sure to spread the word to friends and family.
Sincerely, another unsatisfied customer of nourse

A few weeks ago my wife was wanting to buy a new car and was thinking about a different manufacturer so we stopped by Nourse too. It was not a happy shopping experience. She found a car she liked, but didn't even bother to take it for a test drive because of the sales guy. We went back to Herrnsteins and bought her a car.

You do not want to buy or conduct any type of business at Norse. I took a friend's vehicle in for a warranty problem. They fixed the problem but they did a courtesy check and found over $500.00 in other problems. They made it sound like the car was not safe to drive off the lot. I took the estimate to the owner wh had it check with the family mechanic. It was all CRAP. None of the problems actually existed. On top of that, I'm now getting buried by all kinds of companies who want me to buy extended warranties and other products FOR MY FRIENDS CAR. They sold my name to these companies and now I'm getting all of this junk mail about my friends car.

I'm also going through the same thing. I've only been there once because of a recall on my wife's car. Now I'm getting this crap from the extended warranty companies. I know Norse sold my name, address and vehicle information because they mispelled my first name and all of this trash has the same mispelling. I called twice to complain and was told I would need to talk with "Brent" and they would transfer me. He's never been in his office and he does not return phone calls. My advise to anyone wanting to buy a vehicle in Chillicothe is stay away from Norse.

Used to work for Nourse. Brent is the epitome of a spoiled brat. Never takes responsibility for His own screw ups and places the blame on someone else. Never could stand him. He doesn't care about anyone. The only thing he cares about is making his 6 figure salary. Too bad Mr Nourse is blinded to the fact that Dryden is worthless

I take my car into Nourse for oil changes bc they are a local Toyota dealer. I've had issues with them telling me things are wrong with my car & trying to tell me it is unsafe to drive or may "blow up" if I don't get it fixed. In May I fell for their scam & had a new cabin filter put in. Shortly after that my air/heater started making a loud noise when on high. So bad it would vibrate my dash & floorboard. I left it alone & rarely turned it on high. Went in other day for another oil change, told them about the noise, they said they would look Into it, that sometimes leaves or something gets into cabin filter. As I waited I saw my car head to the wash bay, few minutes later they came to me with a piece of paper & on it was wrote "stuff in blower,.5 hrs,$48". She explained there was stuff in the blower that needed cleaned, would be $48 & half hours worth of work. Said she didn't know what kinda stuff bc they didn't tell her, just that if I didn't get it cleaned it could blow it up. I told them that the other lady told me it could be from something in cabin filter & noise didn't start til I had the new one put in back in May. Told them to leave it I wasn't paying $48 for "stuff" to be cleaned out. She went back inside. 10 mins later she comes to get me that my car is done & they went ahead and cleaned it out since the noise started after they put the filter in.
So how was half hours worth of work done in 10 mins while my car was getting washed?!? It wasn't.. They had already cleaned it out & was just trying to trick me into paying the $48.

Why don't you go up to Children's Hospital and spend a couple hours on the cancer ward, and then tell everyone how you had this "horrible" experience at the car dealership.... Do you really think you have problems.... You people make me sick. I hope your car catches on fire while you are in it.

This post is about people having issues with Nourse. I simply posted my experience with them. I never said I think I have real problems, just issues with them.
& Very harsh to say you hope my car catches fire while I'm in it. I would never wish that upon someone.

My parents bought a used vehichle about 8 months ago and purchased a extended warranty for 2500 dollars extra from the get go they had minor problems with the vehicle which they fixed .then 5 weeks ago they stopped at a store to get groceries and when they came back out the car would not even turn over they had it towed back to bourse and 3 days later nourse called and said they wanted to charge them 500$ to tear it down to see what was wrong, after they said they think the timing chain broke and wrapped valves blowing the vehicle up.they won't tear it down to fix it even with the extension of the warranty they talked to two other dealers who said that it should be under the origanal warranty and even with the extended warranty nourse should be obligated to fix it but they still refuse so now the better business bureau is being contacted I myself have went to nourse where I have been treated rude and like a dummy needless to stay avoid them

This forum started in 2010 and after four years we see that nothing has changed. It appears Norse specializes in poor customer service before, during and after the sale. Rude and disrespectful treatment by their employees at all levels and a total lack of concern about their own reputation.
