i agree. Once you have it, its hard to get rid of them and keep them gone. Its down right disgusting to not do anything about it. They r everywhere and people do not realize it. Watch who you have coming in and out of your home cause they can travel even in creases of shoes.

I had them when I moved into a dorm my freshman year of college. it was only in the mattress.. I got a plastic cover for it and never had any problems again. Luckily a few weeks later the school bought all new mattresses.

Bed bugs are very difficult to get rid of if not treated the correct way. I recently had them about a month ago and it is hell. I am glad i found them and had them dealt with before it got out of hand.

A bedbug is a parasite. Very difficult to get deal with. It's not a shame to get them. You need an exterminator. Ohio is infested with them.

they have 2 poker thinggy mabobbers... one they use to inject a substance that numbs you, then the other they use to suck your blood.. out of the same poke hole.

they're nocturnal though, so ppl think they dont' have them if they look during the day. they also think they're microscopic... which is not true. and that they only live in your beds. WRONG! they are in your entire house, and even travel through your outlets. dont just throw away your bed and get a new one. youll just reinfest yourself..... and it should be treated w/a chemical that has a residual.

(and yes, it takes more than 2 treatments).... pretty pricey, if you have them... be looking to spend about a grand if not more.... or straight up burn your house down.

i had got bed bugs from a couch i got brand new still in plastic from a warehouse.they are sneeky you feel them itch and moving 1 hour after they feed on you leaving big golfball welts.i thought i was dying or had a alergic reaction for months till i found one on me. What must be done? what will work?

i got rid of them over 3 months time. you must spray inside the couch's the cracks rip off the box spring covers spray all over inside boxsprings.Every crack every crevis. but first go around the room baseboard and carpet with spray then hit the target area think outside the box deep deep spraying places you never thought of.

EGGS-- use a wire brush small scrape them off sweep them up.

always wash in hot water and use drier for all bed linen.

same with couch ripp the bottom open hit it all over - EVERY OTHER DAY! and SWITCH SPRAYS i used hotshot bedbug and bayer blue juggs. 100$ and damn it was worth it been bedbug free 3 years now!

it takes alot of work!

I heard the best way to get rid of them is to either one turn ur furnace up so that your house is 120 degress or get a heater that will heat ur house really really hot and leave it that way for a day or 2 and it will kill them. I dont know if it works or not just heard that it did.

That is a method but someone in Ross county caught their home on fire that way. I'd contact a professional for help. It's sad that bed bugs are such a wide spread problem.

we got seven dust and covered everything in our house...all around base boards and ive seen them die from this dust. if they cross the dust then they will dry up and die or take it back to the nest and it kills them. also 90% alcohol kills them on contact.we had them and now weve been clear for a few months so far so good so id try it if you have found any. btw the alcohol doesnt stain anything i sprayed myself every night before i went to bed from head to toe and finally no more bites or those nasty bugs...do not allow anyone in your house!
