Actually they already have the case and he wasn't texting, so DICK think about his family and hers before you write something as such.

Are you now saying the driver was not qualified to drive the ambulance or are you saying the driver was mentally unfit? Or are you implying the driver may have been impaired? What was the driver's BAC, anyway?

What? Why would you even say he was texting? And shame on you for speaking ill of someone who passed..

The OSP has already announced that the ambulance driver was at fault. The question of why he apparently never saw the truck in front of him may never be answered. Since this company has a history of running behind on their scheduled transports, it would be interesting to know what time the lady in the wheelchair was scheduled for her appointment. At that point the question of speed might come up.
whatever the situation

Whatever the situation that caused this terrible tragedy at least two families are suffering deeply.
Show some respect, it could have very well been one of your family members or a close friend.
It is beyond belief the cold hearted low lifes that post such hurtful things at such a time.
Our heart felt condolences and Prayers go out for all of those involved.
May they rest in Peace.

Sorry to the Family of Barb McWhorter. I am Cody's cousin. Please look more into this and find that that was a mistake and he had his license and never a DUI. That was a false report that was later found out that it was another Cody King.

I'm so sorry :( I just want you to know the truth. Please verify this just to save the name of my cousin.

I know there will always be resentment. But you have to know that is false information. The media has put out all kinds of things that are not true

That information can typically be pulled from the airbag computer.

The airport shuttles by where I work at have digital video event recorders that are triggered by abrupt driving events and capture the previous 5 seconds of video and the same data that is available to the air bag computer, with speed, engine rpm, brake or turn signal engagement, steering wheel placement, etc. A veritable black box recorder for airport vans.

Each occurance is a separate incident, that said...if the driver chose to speed to keep up with company mandates, the driver is going to take the fall for the crash. That's why I posted the NTSB report from my friend's crash, it was clear that he was pushed, but in the final analysis the NTSB will fault the pilot for accepting and flying the trip as the pilot in command is the final authority for the safe outcome of a flight. The same occurs when a professional driver takes the wheel.

Maybe the real question here is whether or not a 21 year old is mature enough to handle the responsiblity of telling an operator, "NO!".
