So, the "BoneCrushers" traveling baseball team is sponsoring a dance tonight at the Elks. How Funny! Aren't you parents of this team considered by yourselves to be the "elite" and "wealthy" of the community? But, my child would not even be considered for your team, even though, I have seen him in head to head competition against your children and my child prevailed! Pretty ironic that I make more money than most of those parents. Yet, they want me to pay for their hotels and jerseys. How ironic is that. Guess the price of fuel and the increase in economic times must be getting to you all. Get a life and pay your own way and quit trying to use children that are not good enough for you to pay your way. Absolute desperation on your part to absorb your costs.

BigJohnn is right. Most of these kids snub the other kids at school like they are better. As a parent i will not pay to support their cause. Furthermore, why is the school promoting their event for them? The school seems to be very selective in what they support. Will they send out emails for my garage sale this weekend? I doubt it. But i bet if a teacher was doing it with me they would have no problem with it.

How did this team come to be, and why. And why is the school sponsoring it and how. This is the first I've heard of them. How old are the kids? How were they chosen to be a member of the team, are they representing our school or our community or both. Where are they planning to travel to play? Where can this information be found?

Get real people and stop being so jealous. They raise the money for the tournament fees. The school did not sponsor the event that i can see. They just sent out flyers with the kids. Maybe you should have asked them to send your garage sale flyers home for you. Bahaha!!! The kids are representing the community.

These kids raise this money to go to the competive tournaments they won't see around here. Places like Liberty, Columbia, etc.. It is expensive and it takes whole families including aunts, uncles. cousins, grandma's & grandpa's to make it all happen sometimes! Alot of the talent you have out on the playing field just didn't happen. It was developed!

Oh, well that makes it better for me to foot the bill. If you cannot afford it on your own then dont ask others to help you out. You all turn your noses to others in the community but want others to pay your way. Dont think so.

I read where the Catholic school here is wanting the public school to allow them to play sports with their students. If they want to do that then sign up to go to the public school. If it is good enough for playing with the team it is good enough for classes.

They want to coop with the school for football! They don't have enough students to field a football team. Everyone is always complaining!!!

Look, it has nothing to do with youth sports. Just dont assume your better then ask for my money and then use the other kids for your cause. If you cannot afford a private team then dont sign up. I can afford my own way and dont need a community handout.

Pretty sure it has nothing to do with the parents not being able to afford their kids playing traveling baseball. Big JOHN...have you ever heard of FUND RAISING? You make me sick. Just because your child wasn't asked to play for them probably DID have something to do with YOU as a parent, not the child...ever think of that? If your child is soooooo good, what other reason for not being asked would there be...PSYCHO parents, would be the only one I could think of!!! Do you make decisions about what is best for your family based on these boys? Probably not, so why should these boys parents worry about jealous people like you when they are making decisions based on their childs ability to be asked to play on a traveling baseball team? If you choose not to support these boys, then don't. No one asked you to go and it sounds like they did a pretty good job raising money w/o your child there, so back off jealous parent!!! Bonecrushers are a very great group of boys!!! Parents like you make me sick. If you want a traveling baseball team then MAN/WOMAN UP and coach your own traveling ball team. There is only enough spots for so many. Not every boy can be on the same team...DUH!!! GROW UP

Once again...ever heard of Fund Raising? Most organizations go around asking the community for $ to support their cause. Sounds like you are another jealous parent???

Amen Kasey...these boys put in a lot of work to be able to go and play travel ball. What ever happened to the days when "people" could be happy for others?
