With Robert Pigg gone from HyVee Gas the whole dame thing is going to fall apart. They are out of everything. That Hibner doesn't know how to run a store! Bring back Robert!

Robert knew how to treat the customers and run the station. I guess management at the store didn't see it that way. The station needs to have their own manager that doesnt have to answer to a grocery store manager. They are very different businesses

I don't know what happened to Robert, but I know that its a mess. If you needed something that Hyvee Gas did not have Robert would order it for you, now I don't know if this kid will even know how. How do you run out of cigerettes, Candy,Beer, what ever, can't he order merchendise? What's wrong woth the manager of HyVee. All I know is that Robert was good at is job and took care of people. I think I will go to Casey's from now on.

I agree, taking Robert out of Hy-Vee Gas was a stupid thing to do. Hes a very nice guy and always took care of the customers.

Just you wait till one of the upper crust goes in and Jacob doesn't have what they want. Something is going to hit the fan. He just doesn't know how to take care of the elite. Nor does he care. Never you mind the elite run the town still. Remember the church ladies boycotted booze in the grocery store. And no booze was in the store until last year.

The last part is not true. There has been booze in the store for a couple years.

There wasn't any alcohol in Piggly Wiggly when it first opened either, so what? How come you didn't point that out? Or the fact that Savages never had alcohol?

And for the record, Chillicothe Hy-Vee has been open for 33 years, while the gas station has been owned by Hy-Vee for 11 years.

Find out where Robert Pigg is working and take your business to him. Robert Pigg is a saint in his own right. I've known Robert for almost 60 years. You can trust Robert to do the right thing.

When I talk about the good people of Chilli, he's one of the people I'm referring to.

It would be funny if he turned up at Piggy Wiggly.

Hy-Vee would feel it in the pocket.

Robert is delivering groceries. And what ever he can to keep busy. What a waste. But thats what these big chains do to long time employees when they get to a certain step on the ray scale. They don't want to pay benny anymore.

The other day I went in there for the first time in a while. I actually met Jacob. He is cleaning the place up and I think he will do excellent. From what I understood he hasn't even been there a month. Give him some time. It will all straighten out. From what it sounds like in the above posts, people here hate change? Sometimes it is for the better.

Personally I'm glad the guy is gone. He looked like an oompa loompa and reeked of cat piss.

Hard worker or not, change was not needed. I worked with and for Robert 12 years ago and he was great. Prompt, friendly, and knew how to get the most out of employees by challenging them and treating them right.
