Okay, so why don't you be open minded about this. Did Brandon break into the Woodworth's home and steal the gun, shoot the Robertsons and then break back into the home and put it back? You can surmise the answer to that. Good thing you aren't an investigator! I know who your friend is. It is on casenet. Duh! But I knew it before it was on there. Guess the joke is on you. I am laughing again! LOL!
DO YOU EVER REREAD YOUR POSTS? YOU ARE THE JOKE ON HERE, MY HEART GOES OUT TO YOU.

Ok so those individuals may have spoken up in the beginning. So what held them back in the last 20 yrs trying to get their words to be heard. One of the individuals has always wanted their voice heard on any other matter, and now they sit idly by because why? If you know things and can swear on a bible that they are the truth get your voices heard. Are you afraid someones going to shame you for talking and telling truth? The only person who is going to shame you is God. I do not understand what is wrong with you people.

After reading tonites paper i am totally disgusted that these 3 new witnesses that have information didnt have the balls to be in columbia at the trial and try to have their voices heard. If it was your child behind bars you would want anyone and everyone that had any info to be there for your child. So why did they wait until now to come forward to say something? Thats whats wrong with people today, they dont want to get involved then they bitch because people walk free or get accused of something they didnt do.
It makes no sense to me. I mean if I were a witness that saw something that could potentially free an innocent person, I would have been at the Sheriff's office every day until they listened to me. And then I would have contacted the accused's family and asked to get in touch with their attorney.

In this situation I have to question the credibility of anyone who claims they had information like this and didn't aggressively demand to be heard.

Not to mention that there have been multiple appeals and two trials. Where were they during all of those opportunities to speak out?

It sounds fishy to me. I almost have to think they are just being persuaded to stretch the truth now, or they are just seeking attention. But something doesn't add up about this.

Didn't know about this site til a friend told me I was part of a heated discussion.
Anyway I don't feel I owe most of you an explanation but at the chance that some of you are/or close to the Robertson's or Woodworth's I will risk being verbally attacked:
What we had to say to investigators has not changed. Investigators were told about what we all knew back when this all began and investigators have been reminded that we are here several times throughout the years. Our testimonies do NOT say whether Mark is innocent or guilty nor do they say Brandon is innocent or guilty. We did not witness a murder. When you tell investigators your story you trust that both parties have access to it. Attorney's then pick and choose whom they believe will help their client. We were not told one way or the other if Marks attorney had access to our info or not. We were not chose to testify at the first trial and when the second trial came around investigators were notified again about us and what we knew. The only thing our testimony may have helped prove and it seems has already been proven is that Brandon lied about his alibi and that he wished the Robertson's were dead. That does NOT prove he is guilty of murder nor does it prove Mark is innocent of murder.
What the Robertson's have gone through and seem to continue to go through, is horrific. No one should have to endure the pain they have experienced. Everyone on this site should keep praying for this family. As far as us knowing the Robertson's or the Woodworth's we do not know any of them.
Timing of our testimonies?...ask the investigators/attorney's that question. I am shocked as well as all of you.
Attention??...lol..who in their right mind would want this kind of attention.
Oh and if I misspelled anything PLEASE forgive my ignorance...:)
I will get back on here again to try and answer any questions you may have but will not reply to any that are rude or hateful. Thank You..

Do you information that Brandon was in Chillicothe the night of the murder?
No we have info that places him in chillicothe early the next morning. It is my understanding that Brandon said he left Independence about the same time he was seen in chillicothe.

How does that prove that he did the murder at midnight?

It doesnt Johnn and if you would have read her original post you wouldnt have to ask. It just proves that Brandon lied about where he was that morning. At least now with the proper guidance he is smart enough to plead the 5th!
I can guarantee that if someone came to me asking questions of a murder, and I knew I was innocent, Id be talking your ear off telling you everything you needed to know! Some reason he is chosing not to talk!
He testified in one of the previous trials. Why should he have to go through it all again? He had nothing to gain by testifying at the recent hearing. Im not sticking up for him because I know hes an asshole, but hes not the one on trial here.

And I did read the post, I just want SOMEONE, ANYONE to explain to me how him being in town that morning at 7am proves he did the murder at midnight, or that Mark didn't.

the reason why cox is digging is because mw is innocent as u or me and everyone knows it. how dumb can the real murderer be.he admitted to doing it once and he would do it again. It dont take a genius to figure that out and as for brandon being at school early bob wasnt the only person who saw him, brandon is gonna go down for this no matter how long it takes.and we all feel for the robertsons. But there shouldnt be a innocent man sitting in prison for someone elses crime. kinda funny how u can convict a man wo haveing any fingerprints on a weapon and no gun residue on his hands but on the otherhand brandon had some and ive heard from people who saw him at school said his eyes were pitch dark that morning like death was in his eyes

Well first of all, he lied about having even touched the box of bullets and said he hadn't been in the shed were the bullets were in for months. And before you tell me he about the shed, it was a shed privately owned by Lyndel Robertson so Woodworth wasn't in there very often at all. Secondly, he has been convicted 2 times not just because of one fingerprint. There were ballistic evidence to go along with that which was even more damning. Plus a motive.
<quoted text>
Wow...another misinformed supporter. Mr. Thomure testified at the second trial. His name is mud mostly because of Woodworth. He has never been on trial in the courts but has in the papers. Frankly I don't blame him for not testifying. He has been cooperative with the investigation and was willing to testify at the first trial and DID at the second. I think that is enough.
<quoted text>
Not one damn thing except he is wanting out of there pretty bad!
<quoted text>
If familly support were an indication of innocence then half of the murderers in prison wouldn't be there. Who gives a crap! They opened the case because his supporters like to use the media to make a mountain out of a molehill. You will see.
no woodworths name is mud because of thomure

I don't even know the guy and I know his name is spelled Lyndel. Just read the paper. So I'm guessing if you aren't close enough to him to know how to spell his name, you probably weren't in the room at the hospital to hear him say anything.

Exactly my point. You wouldn't believe what Brandon would have to say even it he did testify. Would you? That guy was a scumbag who couldn't keep his story straight on stand and with his prior statements. Brandon has not changed his story. And I am not saying that he is an upstanding guy but where is the evidence...literally...where is the smoking gun? He didn't sneak into Woodworth's house and steal it. Face the facts.
what gun was used? They have no idea!
