You mean the fact that they are going to build it anyway (contrary to the people's vote) in the same spot as they originally were?

It is on the KMZU website. I'll let you read it for yourself.

Wrongful Deaths Suit, Livingston Co. 10/20/10
Six civil suits alleging wrongful death have been filed in Livingston County all naming Hedrick Medical Center, otherwise known as Grand River Health System, as well as Saint Luke's Health System and Community Health Group as defendants. Three of the civil suits were brought earlier this month. It's alleged in the public records that in each of the cases a muscle relaxant, insulin, or some other medication was given; eventually causing the patients to suffocate. All of the victims died while being treated for various ailments at Hedrick Medical Center between January and May of 2002. Documents filed in the suits also accuse management at the hospital of knowing about the increased death rates during that period, and a person of interest, but doing little or nothing about it. A former employee, Jennifer Hall, is named in the court documents as being the person behind the deaths, although it should be noted that no criminal charges have ever been filed. Livingston County coroner Scott Lindley confirms he has been involved in the ongoing cases, although Sheriff Steve Cox has been unavailable for comment on the matter. In addition, a message to the attorney representing the hospital in these cases, has not been returned. A civil case, different from a criminal case, begins when a person or entity claims that another person or entity has failed to carry out a legal duty owed to the plaintiff. Plaintiffs are asking for monetary compensation in what basically boils down to a breach of contract. Hearings have not yet been scheduled in the cases.

This is what I found.

In all honesty, one must really question this story at this time, if it could only be found on KMZU (and not even there now, apparently). I would think SOMEONE else would have had this information.

Thanks for the info. Indeed it is on casenet. This entire story is frightening! Are we looking at a possible "Angel of Death" situation in our little town?
