I just want to know if you can afford to drive VERY expensive sports cars, not 1 but 2, how do you qualify for medicaid. I'm just curious because I currently have no health care insurance and if that is one of the benefits, I am going to Soc. Services and order mine. You know what, I work full time so I bet that knocks me out of it. Might seriously think about quitting my job, obviously it doesn't pay to work. If I were any of you that currently has Medicaid and you haven't received your car yet, maybe head that way and order it the way you want, no use letting someone else pick out the color. I am all for assistance to help people that truely need it but this is just to much to stomach. Before any of you jump on this band wagon and think I am on here whining about something that is heresay or rumor, I know this to be a fact and if you knew the type of cars I was talking about you would be pissed too. There is something wrong with our system. I wish we had a say to where our tax money is spent. The very least this person could do is put a sponsorship on these cars thanking his sponsors....the tax payers for making this dream come true.

I didn't know you could own a car valued over 4000 that's the way it was when I was pregnant which was in the late 90s I had a nice car because I worked my butt off til I got pregnant no insurance and the job I had required lots of lifting and so I was laid off ! I went to social services and they made me get a estimate on my car ! Weird !!Wow I can't believe that things can change that much!

No, Obama didn't fly down here and fill out their paperwork, Obama didn't approve their appication. This kind of thing has been going on for years, but this is extreme and someone would have to have some little white lies to get this to work out for them or have friends in the places that you need them.

Just maybe,This person has worked their entire life and their pension dosent kick in until their a certain age and they are to young for Medicare, you need to really understand how the system works by law,you see, say you have a million dollars in a special needs trust fund, you still qualify for Medicaid. When you get Medicaid they climb in every hole you have, dosent mean anything this person has done is wrong,if they have a pension or whatever they WILL have to pay Medicaid back! You must work for Greevers.

Medicaid allows for a person to have one car and one home-regardless of the type- and it doesn't count against income/asset limits. After that its no more than 500, 000 in income and assets and they also look at end of the month income after they take out for certain allowable medical deductions. It has to be under 1, 500. Even then if a person is over, there are certain laws such as spousal impoverishment in some cases that can allow for a person to qualify. Each case is looked at differently.

If someone is frauding the system, I'm not saying its right. Just putting some info out there.
