Typical of the good ole boys, removing citizens' comments directed against them. How did they get so arrogant? I wasn't ready to quit reading comments about the injustices at CHS, so I am exercising my right to free speech. Good ole boy pigs, have it removed if you can't stand reading the ugly truth about yourselves. I will just start it again.

Having it removed just makes them look more guilty.

If you type in "trouble at CHS" in the search box on this forum it will still bring up all the comments, but otherwise it appears to be gone.

I personally don't think it should go away, until justice is done.

Jstice was done as far as the school board is concerned and the police decided that it was not a matter for them so why does everyone keep it going? Leave it alone, these boys made a mistake if there is anyone that i commentting on this that is perfect then please throw the first stone but everybody makes mistakes let it go or post your real name if you wasnt afraid of what you are saying you wouldn't hide behind an assumed name, yes i put a different name, put yours and I'll put mine!

I thought Chilhowie people didn't make mistakes.

Please explain to be how that was a mistake. I truly want to know how you came to the conclusion that what happened was a mistake. I just can't see your reasoning.

It was a mistake because they got caught. That's what the GOB (good ole boys) do. They laugh off anything they do wrong (even at the expense of kids' wellbeing) but katy-bar-the-door if someone makes a "mistake" against them. Then they cry, cry, cry 'Injustice.'

Can you imagine how differently this would have played out if these golden boys had been the ones who were violated? You think the GOB would laugh it off and try to cover it up? The GOB makes me sick!! They are the root of the grave injustices in our society because they feel they are above playing by the rules..they feel entitled to special treatment. Time to grow up and man up! otherwise, you remain gutless worms.

Then you people need to make your voices heard, and not just locally. There are so many ways to get your stories out there. Stand up for whats right and hold people accountable for their actions. There are more of you than there is of the "good ole boys". Don't give up.

Did you move from Palmyra to JC, from one topix to another running off at the mouth about something you know nothing about? You are full of hot air!

Now,why are you getting on here defending the chs teabaggers and someone calls you on it, and you start being ugly with them? Are you for real? As parents and/or citizens we deserve to know the truth, desire the truth and need the truth to protect all the students in the Smyth County school system. Why is that so hard to understand , unless you know something different than the rest of us? You don't have to be mean to defend your opinion or whatever you believe (?). As for the rest of us, give us the truth. That's all. The truth. Not boys being boys . Or one of the boys " said it happens in all locker rooms". Or, it's over, forget about it. NO, the truth is what needs to be said.

You are very much mistaken. I have never and will never defend the teabaggers. Maybe some other Sandy did, I would have to go back to see, But I can asure you it wasn't me. As for being nasty someone tells me that I'm full of hot air just because I have an opinion and all I said was "that better than what you are full of". How is that nasty to tell someone they are full of conceit if they think only they have an opinion. I am allowed to form my own opinion and express it.

I'm not the air head. I don't believe for one second that those boys don't need to be punished for what they did.

i know for sure the kids at chs isnt allowed to talk about it and if they do and get over heard they have to go to the office. and here they make such a big deal over bullying. if i was those kids parents i would not let it rest. maybe we need to get the cowboy back in town that bill rush ran out.

I can agree 100%. If it had happened to a child of mine I wouldn't drop it until they got what they deserve.I would have an attorney and I would be screaming about it from the rooftops if need be.They would have to kill me to get me to drop it.

The problems at CHS stem from the principal being such a douche. He exerts zero control or authority. He knowingly allows cheating on state tests. He spends our tax dollars on frivolous things for the coaches instead of supporting the children (unless they happen to be friends of his). Why won't they get rid of him and clean up the school? Some of the kids want an education, at least that is what we are paying taxes for.

You all need to learn to stand up for yourselves and your kids. If these things are true he really needs to go and as soon as possible. There are plenty of ways to make yourselves be heard where it really matters.
