Today, I was in Bridgeport visiting and ate lunch at Yesterday’s and wish I would have known in advance how awful it would be. The fries were soggy, and the customer service was horrible. Yesterday's was a horrible representation of Southern Hospitality. If you like to wait for mediocrity and poor customer service Yesterday’s is the place for you. So don’t make the mistake I made Today by eating at Yesterday’s

Hello, I am Nancy Reicheneker, owner of Yesterdays in Decatur & Bridgeport. I wanted to apologize for your experience at the Bridgeport location & ask you to please email me directly and expand on your comments and let me know what time of day you were in. We pride ourselves for being in Wise county for 15 years and offering great tasting food to order and have acceptional staff so I am glad that I tripped over this site with your review, if someone has had an unpleasant experience at either location the only way I can fix the problem is to know about it. So please email me at nancy@yesterdaystexas.com. I am eager to hear more about this.

What?! You're the owner?! Doesn't your husband own it as well? You sound like Peggy Hill, at Sugarfoots! Based on your response, I think Peggy Hill could do a better job! What difference does it make when they came in?! The food, service, hospitality, and Lord knows what else was terrible! Why else would they go to the trouble of posting it?! What more do you really need to know?! Maybe if you spent less time on the links' and more time tending to "your" business, perhaps these kinds of things wouldn't happen!

I used to work at Yesterday's in Bridgeport, TX, and their entire establishment is pitiful. It is clean. However, I was treated worse there than at any other job I have ever had. The owner has his entire family working there and they all have the mentality that they can treat you like crap. Nancy is the worst of all of them. Don't patronize this establishment if you think that terrible treatment of your employees is not acceptable.

Thank you.

I would have to agree. Although, I never worked at "Yesterdays", nor would I. As evil, bad, oppressive, fat, and loud as Nancy, Phil is worse! It's been my experience that Phil takes' advantange of the employees', while Nancy takes advantange of the customer's. What a great team.

How do you know anything about what goes on at Yesterday's? If you used to work there, there is probably a good reason you don't anymore ( like you were a very bad employee!) By the way Phil and Nancy are not fat, loud, or anything else anyone wants to think. So why doesn't everyone who has nothing else to do than bad mouth other people look in the mirror and shut the hell up!

Yes, I am a manager at Yesterday’s Texas and I am proud of it. I have been employed with Yesterday’s Texas for almost 3 years now. I enjoy my job AND my employers. They have helped me and thought me many lessons that will help me when I leave for college next semester. They are caring people who help everyone around them. I see no reason to insult the owners because one of them tries to take care of a situation and make a customer happy, that’s her job. It humors me that out of the two bloggers (Ramone Tavares and A Former Employee) you have to come on a site and raise slander against a family who is just trying to make a living. You both sound like former employees who just couldn’t “cut it” and it is probably a good thing that you are no longer here to bring the rest of the staff down. You two say that they take advantage of everyone? This confuses me since they hold many fundraisers, give out scholarships every year and sponsor local events. So, next time, it might be a good idea to get your facts straight. I also think it is completely stupid that you actually said these things on the internet where they can be seen and taken to the authorities as slander. And trust me, this will not be the last blog of a CURRENT EMPLOYEE who enjoys their job AND their bosses.

Why doesn't it suprise me that "Hello" and "Happy Employee" wouldn't use their real names? They sound like a couple of brown nosers'. Also, if you two were able to comprehend and retain what you'd just read, you would remember that I'm NOT a former employee. Your shallow threats are amusing. Since when is personal opinion considered to be slander, Hillary?

I have eaten at Yesterday's in Bridgeport a total of 1 time. My experience was pretty much like that of "Disappointed Customer".

The music was so loud my date and I had trouble talking across the table. The servers were more interested in playing around than customer service. The food (when it finally arrived) was mediocre at best(I'm being generous)and overpriced. Finding waitstaff after they tossed the food on the table was impossible (until they came back to toss us the bill). I was embarrased that I took a date there.

This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. I don't know the owners. I've never worked there. I'll never eat there again.

Fool me once, shame on you. You won't get a second chance. I predict the McDonald's that's opening down the street will offer 10x the customer service.

That should tell you something.

David, are you kidding! Do you honestly expect RPM to respond to you!? RPM took a date to your establishment, and was terribly disappointed! IE... the music was too loud. the food was mediocre, and he states that this was one of his worst dining experiences. What more do you need to know, David?!

I would like to say that I have been to both stores. Although I had a bad expierence the first visit in Bridgeport I have since returned and the Mgr. made sure that I was well taken care of. I am a GM in a large chain and these things happen. You can't judge a store by 1 visit and when a Mgr takes the time to talk to you and make sure you don't have another bad visit that shows they do care. I will return there and am glad they are a part of our community. They do alot of good for for our kids.

Ramone - you obviously have too much time on your hands with the number of comments you wrote. There are far more things in the world to worry about than bashing a restaurant. Why don't you worry about your personality instead?
