$18,000,000.00 what a deal. Why no it double it, we will get twice the stimulus. No one will need to build small cares.

Great that our b-line is getting money for a building, while out of town riders last bus is at 6p.m. Spend some $$ on expanding your customer services, instead of a new bus or equipment.Sure would be nice for us out of chico patrons,to help the local economy,by spending our money in chico after 6p.m.

That all depends, are you asking about government subsidized tickets or tax payer tickets. Some in some towns are even riding for free just because they go by jumping in the side door and there is no cop to stop them.
I bet you can even go to a democratic liberal college rally where our Mayor is speaking and get free tickets. Depending on how you are going to vote of course.

With so few people riding the bus, $18,000,000.00 could of bought each bus rider an electric car.

Man you could say that again but don't expect anyone in public transportation to read or except it!
I have been watching the buses drive around Chico empty now for thirty or more years, ever sense Jane Dolen first began her campaign to shove them down our mouths.
How many millions upon millions has that cost us?
They got smart a couple of years back and put in tinted windows so no one could see they were always empty.
Those damn things pollute, make noise and take up a lot of room. How many bike riders have had to eat their black smoke all these years?
But there are always a few die hard riders that continue to go before the council with tears in their eyes telling them how wonderful it is to have a free ride. And the college wants it for its subsidies.
Scam after, scam, after scam!
We all need to ask Jane to leave Butte County for sucking the blood out of the Chico taxpayers.
I say cut bus funding! CUT CUT AND CUT SOME MORE!
Anyone recall that empty SF trolly bus we had to look at, where is it now?

Berkeley maybe, but never Oakland. Chico could never be as awesome as Oakland!
