Perhaps they should've just left him there! He clearly didn't want to leave. I hope the cost of the rescue will be passed on to the man. I don't think our tax dollars should be paying for this kind of thing!

"The victim, identified as Erik Cooper, 44, was also arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public, assaulting a firefighter and violation of probation stemming from a DUI conviction with prior offenses."

Since when is a low life drunk who's on probation for DUI considered a victim?

Erik Cooper is on probation for DUI with a prior DUI. They should have left this drunk POS to die before he kills some innocent person.

Hey, the dude was just taking a walk in the park! He wasn't hurting anything. People need to stand up for the rights of citizens who want to use the park, a right we have as tax paying citizens.

Hint: Read the article BEFORE making a post. "Dude" was reported as missing. Turned out he was too intoxicated to take care of himself, which is actually a crime *gasp*! Dude also apparently has a problem with alcohol since he's on probation for it. For the love of God, please pull your head out of your poop shoot, Outsider.

They do arrest people for being drunk in public in Chico! Do they arrest drunk college students downtown or only when they are walking dogs in the park?

It is apparently true about the dog being mans best friend.
Any woman with a cell phone can be dangerous. Especially when there are fire and risque personnel who covet the hero image, a guys women and see where there is an opportunity to make a buck. He really set himself up, all things considered.

Stephens really set himself up (yet again) with more of his foolish comments. Why are we not surprised?

Did he or did he not break his leg?
It is not very often that a risque is being performed in the upper park and these boys needed to get as much publicity and money as they could, don't ya think. Like I said the poor son of a gun really should have predicted it is a trap, a set up.
We can not blame anyone particularly, our whole social system is rotting.

I seriously doubt that he or anyone else were in danger or that he was even as drunk as it is claimed. This is typical of the over protecting civil services are doing. And it is all for profit and the increases they want in our taxes. It could be that an empty bottle was found and put in his hand.

True the ER likes to add drama to their stories and info given to us the readers and we just go by what they report.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Pisces

Someone is in a very boisterous mood today, and you may want to make yourself scarce after a short spell in their company. Their idea of a joke may be your idea of extreme rudeness, or they could take pleasure in being argumentative just for the sake of it. Don't let this person wind you up or you'll go off pop through sheer tension.
