And so we see the beginning of the consequences of the election results.

The stock market took a huge hit the day after Obama won re-election.

Companies are laying off workers in preparation of impending tax increases and Obamacare costs.

" I had to lay off 22 people today to make sure that my business is gonna thrive and Iím gonna be around for years to come. I have to build up that nest egg now for the taxes and regulations that are coming my way. Elections do have consequences, but so do choices. A choice you make every day has consequences and you know what, Iíve always put my employees first, but unfortunately today I have to put me and my family first, and you watch whatís gonna happen. Iím just one guy with 114 employees ó well was 114 employees ó watch what happens in the next six months. The Dow alone lost 314 points today. Thereís a tsunami coming and if you didnít think this election had consequences, just wait.Ē

Story is really suspect. What kind of business! Why is his business shrinking when overall the economy is growing?

If the picture is any indication of your ethnic background I'd say you're black. I find it striking that a black person wants slavery which is what you would have gotten if the repubicans had won.

HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS FLEE DEMOCRAT-RUN CALIFORNIA

Due to high taxes, burdensome regulations, lack of public sector reforms, and a lackluster job climate, more people have left California than come to the state since 2005, according to a comprehensive study by the Manhattan Institute released on Tuesday, suggesting California is no longer ďperceived by most Americans as the land where dreams come true.Ē

I didn't believe that you liberals did that to other liberals???

The Democratic Party has become the Luddites of our day.

Call them the Luddite Party. The name is based on a British social movement formed during the 19th century. The movement was named after Ned Ludd, a young man who destroyed several massive mechanical looms in protest of the Industrial Revolution. Later, he was given an imaginary status and was known as King Ludd who lived in Sherwood Forest.

The Luddites were characterized by the practice of destroying private property as a means of protest. Sound familiar?

Changing the subject does not change the fact that you are the most pitiful pathological liar on these forums!

And it's not so much that conservatives got their butts kicked? As it is they just failed to show up!
So, sadly enough, it ended up basically being a no show forfeit!
And because of those who stupidly failed to show up and vote? We'll all pay greatly!

Baloney!!

The conservatives who did not show up to vote where the REAL CONSERVATIVES, they knew Romney was bad for AMERICA....

The ones who showed up and voted for Romney were T Baggers and crazy right wing nuts like you, PROGUN and FREAK who got no clue what AMERICA is all about...

And because TRUE CONSERVATIVES either did not show up or voted for President OBAMA, AMERICA is on her way to an unparalleled economic renaissance .... and you are right, the T bagger's party WILL pay greatly....

When watching the pub primary debates and how the candidates savaged each other my thought was "They're creating Democrat voters" and when the pundits said rummy would etch-a-sketch his way out of this I expressed serious doubts....and I guess others must have had the same doubts. I guess when you go too far left or right you leave some committed voters behind, and/but I guess the rummy camp never thought it would go so far. OOPS. LOL

"A Utah coal company owned by a vocal critic of President Barack Obama has laid off 102 miners.

The layoffs at the West Ridge Mine are effective immediately, according to UtahAmerican Energy Inc., a subsidiary of Murray Energy Corp. They were announced in a short statement made public Thursday, two days after Obama won re-election.

The layoffs are necessary because of the president's "war on coal," the statement said. The slogan is one used frequently during the election by Murray Energy CEO Robert Murray, who was an ardent supporter of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

In its statement, UtahAmerican Energy blames the Obama administration for instituting policies that will close down "204 American coal-fired power plants by 2014" and for drastically reducing the market for coal."

Four more years!

"The Interior Department on Friday issued a final plan to close 1.6 million acres of federal land in the West originally slated for oil shale development.

The proposed plan would fence off a majority of the initial blueprint laid out in the final days of the George W. Bush administration. It faces a 30-day protest period and a 60-day process to ensure it is consistent with local and state policies. After that, the department would render a decision for implementation."
