I am curios. Why did Obama win in 2012?
Was it his foreign affairs policies?
Was it the job growth in his first term?
Was it his leadership ability?

I would like to know why half of the American voters thought that we should do the last four years over again.

Foreign affairs-- great. His decision to take out bin laden with the Seals was extremely courageous-- personally, and politically.

Job growth from when he began-- great. Especially given repub obstructionism.

Leadership-- calm, tenancious, and very good, despite a horrific amount of abuse thrown at him by his T Bagger opponents.

Let's now take a look at his opponent, because this wasn't just a referendum on Obama-- there was actually another candidate we had to consider. He was named Romney.

Foreign affairs-- no experience, and his trip to the Olympics was, uh, disappointing. He didn't disagree much with Obama's policies, in the third debate.

Job growth-- His job at Bain had nothing to do with job growth in the US, and much to do with profit for Romney and his associates. Very poor job growth record while governor.

Leadership-- A good vulture capitalist. But if leadership also has to do with maintaining the same viewpoints and policies over time, not flip-flopping on almost every issue dependant on the audience he's talking to--

Then Romney had NO leadrship qualities.

I know why you voted for Obama. I asked why he won.

I think in part he won because he has been campaigning since the day he was inaugurated. He has been buying votes from the start, the Stimulus and auto bailouts, plus the restructuring of the car companies favoured the unions which are big Dem supporters.

The MSM backed his every move and hid every mistake. I talked to a few Obama voters over the last few weeks, not the die hard Lefties like you, but just the average person. They know nothing about Obama's policies. All they know is what they are fed on Facebook/twitter or what they hear on MSNBC. The average person doesn't know the complexities of Obamacare, as one example. They voted as they did because they were told to do so by the media, because their peers were voting that way.

Obama didn't run on his record. Obama ran on demonizing Romney. With an uninformed electorate and a complicit media he made it work. From the day Romney was confirmed as the GOP candidate Obama has been running negative ads in the swing states attacking Romney. It isn't so much that Obama won, as in 2008 nobody knows who he is, but his vote getting machine won.

All of the above... plus, as SOLUTION points out, the many limitations and the bankrupt ideology embodied in his opponents ideology.

Another significant reason why over "half of American voter thought" President OBAMA deserving of another term is the aplomb with which he handled his demonization by the right.... it can be said that you SAM, HERE IS ONE aka MEXITROLL, LOCAL IDIOT and other crazies like SOCIOPATH and FREAK helped re elect President OBAMA.

The next four years will be much better than the las four, first because America told the Republican Party in no uncertain terms that the T Publican intransigence is unacceptable and will no longer be tolerated...

Second, the 2013 economy is in a much better place than it was in 2009...

Third, this is President OBAMA's last term and he will be more unfettered in his efforts to restore America to her former greatness, thus assuring his place amongst America's greatest presidents and his spot on Mount Rushmore....

The fact is that the repubs have put up very poor candidates since the first Bush, who was at least a realistic moderate.

Bush Jr. may have won two terms, but that doesn't make him a good president. He was one of the worst ever.

McCain/ Palin? They were a joke then, and they're a joke now.

Romney/ Ryan? A flip-flopping elitist who wrote off 47% of our population as irresponsible moochers, and Ryan, a narcissitic liar who loves the cartoonish platitudes of Ayn Rand.

They're all losers. Any moderate repub with integrity doesn't have a chance in this party. The only reason they thought they could win is because they believe everything Fox News and Limbaugh feeds them.

Are you living in a dream world? Obama did not run on his record for one reason. It is a lousy record.

Obama ran on identity politics. He ran by demonizing Romney and on class warfare. He also is the first politician elected strictly on his appearance. He had no record of achievement to run on.

He is the Kardashian President.

What planet did you say you were from...?

President OBAMA has got a far better record in four years than Bush did in 8, if you can't see that I respectfully suggest you see a shrink at your earliest convenience because no amount of evidence will allow you to see the truth....

Romney demonized himself, he was an empty suit, a flip flopping, money grubbing etch a sketch and every intelligent, well informed American voter saw through that.

BTW, it does appear that Clint Eastwood's empty chair skit kinda back fired, does it not....? LMAO
