I honestly enjoyed some of his movies but I was so embarrassed by his incoherent spew tonight I had to turn away.

How embarrassing!

And now there’s some Hispanic on stage telling us all how mutt rummy wants to get us back to the America that helped him succeed, public education, government loans, providing the infrastructure that’s helped everyone who has succeeded, unless you’re born rich.

Yea, I can feel your pain.
He should have been at dinner at the HOGS BREATH INN.

Did Clint mention Romney's Grandfathers 10 wives in Mexico? Thought not. Or that Grand dad Romney fled the USA for Mexico because of his POLIGAMY?

Look, the bright side is the man LOVED WOMEN and BELIEVED in MARRIAGE. So waht if some of them were 13 when he Married them. You can't call it STATUTORY RAPE if they are married.

But Hey, RAPE IS OK for REPUBLICANS.

Comment Here is One? Thought NOT! But still WAITING!

I would tend to believe that you would be the one drinking at 6:00am. not me. Besides littlemansyndromeprick, I haven't drank liquor in over 19 years now.
But that is what the left winged does the best, they lie and they falsely accuse.(That's why they hate the Ten Commandments so much)
Good try though littlemansyndromeprick worm. Maybe someday you will get lucky and one of your many, many lies, may just not be a lie.

Clint Eastwood was brilliant. Do you Lefties really think that someone with Eastwood's talent and genius at making movies would come onto stage in front of millions of people and stumble and bumble around? Eastwood mocked the Left and Obama, he made the Left and Obama look like fools. That is why you Lefties are attacking him.

"Like William F. Gavin, I hugely enjoyed Clint Eastwood’s turn last night, but I’m not sure I agree that it was “unintentionally hilarious” and that “he forgot his lines, lost his way.” Clint is a brilliant actor, and a superb director of other actors (and I don’t just mean a quarter-century ago: In the last five years, he’s directed eight films). He’s also, as Mr. Gavin observed, a terrific jazz improviser at the piano — and, in film and music documentaries, an extremely articulate interviewee. So I wouldn’t assume that the general tenor of his performance wasn’t exactly as he intended. The hair was a clue: No Hollywood icon goes out on stage like that unless he means to.

John Hayward writes:

The intended recipient was not Mitt Romney, the convention delegates, or even Republican voters, but rather wavering independents. Clint was there to tell them it’s OK to find Obama, his ugly campaign operation, and his increasingly shrill band of die-hard defenders ridiculous. It’s OK to laugh at them.

I’m not sure he could have pulled that off if he’d delivered a slick telepromptered pitch. As Mr. Hayward suggests, the hard lines packed more of a punch for being delivered in the midst of a Bob Newhart empty-chair shtick from the Dean Martin show circa 1968. Indeed, they were some of the hardest lines of the convention and may well prove the take-home (“We own this country ... Politicians are employees of ours ... And when somebody does not do the job, we’ve got to let them go”), but they seemed more effective for appearing to emerge extemporaneously from the general shambles.

The curse of political operatives is that they make everything the same. A guy smoothly reading platitudinous codswallop while rotating his head from the left-hand teleprompter to the right-hand teleprompter like clockwork as if he’s at Centre Court watching the world’s slowest Wimbledon rally is a very reductive idea of “professionalism.” Even politicians you’re well disposed to come across as slick bores in that format. Which is by way of saying Clint is too sharp and too crafty not to have known what he was doing.

Oh, and next time ’round, he should sing."

You are right, I am drinking at 6:00 am, I am drinking coffee from my Starbucks mug.... I do drink beer and wine, but in moderation, had you done so in your younger years you too could have been enjoying a glass of wine with your meals today....

All you conservatives had best re-read your "Ten commandments" because you all have been going out of your gourds accusing President OBAMA of everything under the sun...

Cheers!!!

Rush Limbaugh loved the Shtick so I would have been disappointed had you not liked Clint's political diatribe.

However, Romneys wife was not to thrilled with the performance and many conservative hacks seem to think that Eastwood's little skit was a political train wreck heading Romney's way...

And how many conservative pundits do you actually read? Or are you merely taking the liberal hacks perspective on conservatives as your own?

So Rush liked it as well. I didn't listen to Rush yesterday. I heard some of Prager but not sure if he even talked about Eastwood.

First, and above ALL things; Yes Jesus is my refuge!

Second, nothing but the truth about the failure known as Obama.

Third; You and truth? Oil & water. t

I listened to many news outlets to hear the comment on Eastwood's speech(skit).
The conservatives loved it, and the liberals tried to explain why it was problematic.
Personally, I thought he was great.....and that is what it all boils down to. How did each individual feel about this great American's speech?
One cannot depend upon the media pundits, as most of them have become biased toward liberal thinking.
"This is our Country" "Politicians work for us"
"If an man does not get the job done, then we have to let him(nObama) go." -Clint Eastwood-
