Great News! Now, with all of these new businesses coming to Mobile and Balwin Counties, we all can rejoice in having our property taxes, sales taxes, utility bills and other government revenue sources increased to provide monetary incentives to these companies and then also have to build new highways, water and sewer plants, electric power plants, landfills, schools and other amenities to support them. Isn't growth a wonderful thing!!

IMPACT FEES, IMPACT FEES, IMPACT FEES!!!!! MAKE THEM PAY FOR THE GROWTH. THEY WILL STILL REEP ENOUGH BENEFITS IN THE LONG RUN. IT'S TIME THE COUNTY COMMISSION, THE CITY BOARD, ETC., SERVE ALL IT'S CITIZENS, AND NOT JUST THE SELECT FEW. IF YOU CAN'T DO IT, GET OUT, AND I MEAN NOW!! YOU'RE OCCUPYING VALUABLE SPACE, AND CREATING MORE PROBLEMS THAN YOU ARE WILLING TO FIX.

Great news Mobile! It's good to see Mobile start to recover from rough times since the closing of the air force base over 30 yrs ago.. The city went down hill fast with the lost of 16,000 jobs. Who cares if government revenue sources increased to lure industries to the city. The city needs to progress forward and not backward like it has done in the past. Only wicked selfish people would be against this growth!!

"Only wicked selfish people would be against this growth!!"

I won't go so far as to say that only wicked, selfish people were responsible for the growth. What people want is RESPONSIBLE, PLANNED GROWTH that includes all the aspects of life that this growth influences and most of the time burdens. The people that want growth without these attributes, I will call wicked and selfish. They are only in it for what THEY can get out of it, all the while peddling that age old caring attitude of "improving the quality of life for our citizens". Well, there's two sides to that equation, and growth without consideration for the impact on schools, roads, utilities, and other vital functions that are necessities of a good community, is one sided and self-serving. I know which side I stand on, it's time for choosing sides now before it's too late. You can't play catch up in this game!!!!!!!
