CRAA gets the proceeds for the beer concession at the fest once or twice a yr. 1 yr, not very long ago, these fine people were in charge of the $$$....Lets just say they came up short...

Dude, it was in the Southtown at the time, it was not covered up...where you been? Had nothing to do with the parks or CR govt. It involved the CRAA (little league)

Robbie L. is exactly right. These people were removing beer tickets and pocketing the money. The president at the time stayed at the tent all night and the next day and counted every ticket sold-and these tickets were all over the place, on the floor, in designated boxes, in the trash. He accounted for every ticket and found there were a bunch in the sequence missing, then he found those and the money at the offenders house. He called the police.
This had nothing to do with the park district, or village hall or ridgefest committee - so all you conspiracy buffs can back off. One man took charge and did his job as president of a non profit organization and got justice. CRAA lives on and has a few really hardworking volunteers keeping it afloat. They play good baseball and softball.

There are many of us who don't have a clue about this. No arrests? Thats very suspect. The more time that goes by the more cloudy the facts get. IF what has been posted is true the police needed to be involved. You cannot handle a crime any other way.

ppl in chicago ridge arent all perfect. i remember this happened about like 5 or 6 years ago. u know how much sh*t has happened since then with everyone else in the ridge? dont u guys have other stuff to discuss? from what it looks like everything in the pic is brand new from the site you posted. why would they wait 5-6 years to spend money from craa on stuff like that? it would be long gone by now people. and i can guarentee there r more ppl fuckin over chicago ridge in general, not just the softball/baseball league. get ur acts together ppl!!! chicago ridge in general is corrupt. look at the mayor!

The police were involved, an arrest was made and justice was eventually meted out. It was not made a big deal because I think the guy who was president didn't make it a big deal. He contacted the police and let them handle it and didn't run around telling people what he did. End of story. The people involved dropped out of site and have kept a low profile. Life goes on.
On this site I would much rather see intelligent discussion about what can be done to make our village a better place to live and how to attract quality new families
