Melissa Gonzalez-
Take the El you typical 'American'..... No wonder we don't have a great system... Your parking your Volkswagen Jetta from Midway to Watertower... NO excuse... Two stops by your house...

FYI -
Bet she is a little overweight too... She could stand the walk, but driving allows her personal time to eat her doughnuts and make some phone calls (while she drives)....

Chicago-

Maybe have a higher city parking sticker rate for vehicles registered closer to the EL???? Something to think about.....

Hey Trib-
Tell people to take the train....

If people can't find parking then the rates are too low. If there is a waiting list, then the price is too low. Cities need to raise the rates and lower their taxes. Why make people wait years? Just raise the rates and allow the market demand to set the rate. The money raised should go to the local neighborhood to improve or repair the streets and sidewalks. When one space is left on a block at the peak times then the rate will be set high enough.
