Man dead, woman missing after icy Chicago River rescue
A 26-year-old man, who fell into the water while trying to retrieve a dropped cellphone, died a short time after he was pulled from the icy river early Monday.

So many people, always becoming suicidal when winter comes. As if suicidals riding bicycles when it is in the teens and single digits with subzero windchills wasn't enough, now people going for swims in 33 degree water. How much worse can it possibly get? And chances are, the water would have easily shorted out and ruined the guy's cell phone before he even dove in after it.
