Is it really necessary to gender a building? It's outmoded even when referring to a ship.

Blazing marquees of the theater district? Makes it sound like a Broadway feel; more of that Chicago 'wind' at work again. Let me put it this way, I walked through the 'Theater District' and didn't realize I was in it or that Chicago had one. I guess any new life in the empty after-hours Loop helps. Even Cleveland has a better Theater District than Chicago's, it's called Playhouse Square.
